ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Ավստրիայի ազգային խորհրդի պատգամավոր, Ավստրիայի ժողովրդական կուսակցության (ԱԺԿ) խորհրդարանական խմբակցության նախագահ, ԱԺԿ փոխնախագահ Ռայնհոլդ Լոպատկային:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը ողջունել է հյուրին եւ Հայաստան նրա այցը կարեւորել ինչպես հայ-ավստրիական ավանդական բարեկամական կապերն ամրապնդելու, այնպես էլ միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցությունը նորովի խթանելու առումով: Հանրապետության նախագահը պատվաբեր է համարել մեր երկրում հյուրընկալել Ավստրիայի խորհրդարանի խորհրդարանական խմբակցության ղեկավարին, ով հաղորդակից է հայ ժողովրդին հուզող հարցերին եւ իր անձնական ներդրումն է ունեցել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող եւ դատապարտող հայտարարության ընդունման գործում։ Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչմամբ Ավստրիան կարեւոր ներդրում կատարեց ցեղասպանությունների եւ մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունների կանխարգելման գործում:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը նման հանդիպումները լավ առիթ է համարել նաեւ միջկուսակցական կապերի ստեղծման եւ ամրապնդման համար, նկատի առնելով, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունը եւ Ավստրիայի Ժողովրդական կուսակցությունն անդամակցում են ԵԺԿ-ին, որի շրջանակներում եւս կարող են արդյունավետ փոխգործակցություն ծավալել:

Զրուցակիցները համակարծիք են եղել, որ հումանիտար, մշակութային կապերը երկու ժողովուրդներին կամրջող կարեւոր գործոններից են, որոնք մեծապես խթանում են հայ-ավստրիական բարձր մակարդակի հարաբերությունների ամրապնդումն ու առեւտրատնտեսական փոխգործակցության զարգացումը:

Ռայնհոլդ Լոպատկան շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Հանրապետության Նախագահին ջերմ ընդունելության համար եւ ընդգծել, որ իր համոզմամբ, հայ-ավստրիական համագործակցությունն անհրաժեշտ է զարգացնել մի քանի մակարդակներով՝ միջխորհրդարանական, որտեղ բարեկամության խմբում ընդգրկված են բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերի ներկայացուցիչները, առանձին կուսակցությունների միջեւ, ինչպես նաեւ Ավստրիայում գործող ԱԺԿ Քաղաքական ակադեմիայի շրջանակներում: Նա պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել իր հնարավորությունների սահմաններում նպաստել այդ համագործակցության խորացմանն ու զարգացմանը:
