Երեկ, օգոստոսի 2-ին, կրակոցներ են հնչել Երևանում։ Ժամը 23։40-ի սահմաններում Ոստիկանության Նոր Նորքի բաժնում օպերատիվ տեղեկություններ են ստացվել, որ Ջրվեժ թաղամասում «Երևան Սիթի» սուպերմարկետի մոտ ծեծկռտուք է տեղի ունեցել, որի ժամանակ հնչել են կրակոցներ։ 

Ինչպես հայտնում է աղբյուրը, օպերատիվորեն դեպքի վայր են ժամանել Ոստիկանության Նոր Նորքի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ անչափահասների գործերով բաժանմունքի պետ Մալխասյանի գլխավորությամբ։ Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել են նաև ՀՀ ոստիկանության Պարեկային ծառայության Երևանի գնդի պարեկները։ Երևանի գնդի պարեկներն ու Նոր Նորքի ոստիկանները տաք հետքերով՝ նշված վիճաբանության-ծեծկռտուքին մասնակցելու կասկածանքով՝ Բանավան թաղամասից ոստիկանության Նոր Նորքի բաժին են բերման ենթարկել Երևանի բնակիչներ 44-ամյա Ռուստամ Ս․-ին, 59-ամյա Եփրեմ Ն․-ին և 32-ամյա Հովհաննես Ն․-ին։

Աղբյուրի տեղեկություններով՝ անձնական խուզարկությամբ՝ Հ․ Նիկողոսյանի մոտ հայտնաբերվել է թմբուկավոր ատրճանակ, որի մեջ եղել է 5 փամփուշտ։ Դեպքի վայրում հայտնաբերվել են կրակված փամփուշտներ և 1 պարկուճ։ Փաստի առթիվ Ոստիկանության Նոր Նորքի բաժնի հետաքննական բաժանմունքում նյութեր են նախապատրաստվում։ Հետաքննիչի որոշմամբ՝ նշանակվել են մի շարք փորձաքնություններ, այդ թվում՝ դատաբժշկական։ Ֆոտոլրագրողի տեղեկություններով՝ նշված անձինք, երբ նկատել են Նոր Նորքի ոստիկաններին և Երևանի գնդի պարեկներին, փորձել են դիմել փախուստի, սակայն պարեկները պրոֆեսիոնալ ձևով օղակի մեջ են առել նրանց, ու նրանք չեն կարողացել ճողոպրել։ 

Աղբյուրի տեղեկություններով՝ բերման ենթարկվածներն իրենց թաղամասում  և իրենց շրջապատում հայտնի են «Զազո», «Զոզո» և «Զիզի» մականուններով։
