Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը վերցրեց օլիմպիական արծաթը

Հայկական ծանրամարտում օլիմպիական խաղերում վերջին անգամ չեմպիոնի կոչումը նվաճել էր Իսրայել Միլիտոսյանը`Բարսելոնայում, 1992–ին։ Տոկիոյում հայ ծանրորդների «ոսկե» հաջողությունը թարմանցնելու շանս ուներ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը։

Ծանրորդ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը երկամարտի 423 կգ արդյունքով, տղամարդկանց 109 կգ քաշային կարգում դարձավ օլիմպիական խաղերի արծաթե մեդալակիր։

Ծանրամարտի օլիմպիական տղամարդկանց մրցաշարում Հայաստանի միակ ներկայացուցիչը՝ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը, մրցումներին ներկայացել էր աշխարհի գործող չեմպիոնի կարգավիճակով։ Հայ ծանրորդը Տոկիո-2020-ում Հայաստանի մեդալի հույսերից մեկն էր։ Ոմանք հիշում էին Սիմոնի մասնակցությունը Եվրոպայի վերջին առաջնությունում, որտեղ հայ ծանրորդը հրում վարժությունում զրո ստացավ։ Բայց հայ դյուցազունն իզորու էր ապացուցել բոլորին իր բազուկների ուժը։

Պոկում վարժությունում Մարտիրոսյանն առաջին մոտեցման համար նախապես պատվիրել էր 190 կգ։ Ռիոյի օլիմպիական խաղերի արծաթե մեդալակիրը նախ գլխավերևում պահեց այդ քաշը, հետո մի փոքր դժվարությամբ բարձրացրեց 195 կգ կշռող ծանրաձողն ու պոկում վարժությունից հետո դարձավ առաջատարը` ունենալով երկու կիլոգրամի առավելություն երկրորդ տեղով ընթացող Ակբար Ջուրաևի նկատմամբ և վեց կիլոգրամի առավելություն` երրորդ տեղում ընթացող բուլղարացի Հրիստո Հրիստովի։

Հրում վարժության առաջին մոտեցման համար Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանի նախնական պատվերը 230 կգ էր։ Բայց տակտիկական պայքարից ելնելով` Մարտիրոսյանը մոտեցավ 228 կգ-ին և գխավորեց աղյուսակը երկամարտի 423 կգ արդյունքով, ինչը օլիմպիական նոր ռեկորդ էր։ Բայց պայքարը ոսկե մեդալի համար առջևում էր և պարզ էր, որ չեմպիոնի տիտղոսի համար պայքարն ընթանալու է հայ և ուզբեկ ծանրորդների միջև։ Ջուրաևը երկրորդ մոտեցման ժամանակ չկարողացավ բարձրացնել 234 կգ կշռող ծանրաձողը։ Սկսվեց տակտիկական պայքարը, ու մեր մարզիչները ստիպեցին ուզբեկ ծանրորդին երրորդ մոտեցմանը փորձըլ բարձրացնել 237 կգ-ը։ Ջուրաևը, սխրանք գործելով, գլխավերևում պահեց այդ քաշը և երկամարտում դարձավ առաջատար։

Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը դեռ երկու մոտեցում ուներ և 238 կգ բարձրացնելու դեպքում դառնում էր օլիմպիական չեմպիոն։ Երկրորդ մոտեցումը չհաջողվեց։ Մնաց մեկ հնարավորություն։ Կա՛մ օլիմպիական ոսկի, կա՛մ արծաթ։ Ցավոք, երրորդ մոտեցումն էլ չհաջողվեց, ու մեր մարզիկը բավարարվեց արծաթե մեդալով։

Այպիսով` օլիմպիական խաղերում մրցումային հերթական օրվանից հետո Հայաստանի օլիմպիական հավաքականը ունի երեք մեդալ՝ 2 արծաթե (Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյան-ծանրամարտ) և (Արթուր Ալեքսանյան-հունահռոմեական ըմբշամարտ) և 1 բրոնզե (Արթուր Դավթյան - մարմնամարզություն)։ Առնվազն բրոնզե մեդալ արդեն երաշխավորել է բռնցքամարտիկ Հովհաննես Բաչկովը, որը հավակնում է օլիմպիական ոսկե մեդալին։
