100-ամյա ամերիկուհին ամենատարեց ծանրորդն է աշխարհում
SPORTԷդիթ Մուրվեյ-Թրեյնան Ֆլորիդայից, որի 100 տարին է լրացել, նոր ռեկորդ է սահմանել որպես աշխարհի ամենատարեց ծանրորդ։ Նա ծանրաձող բարձրացնել սկսել է ընդամենը 9 տարի առաջ, տեղեկացրել են Գինեսի ռեկորդների գրքի կազմակերպիչները։
Թոշակառուն հանդես է գալիս փաուերլիֆթինգի մրցումներում՝ բարձրացնելով 18-68 կիլոգրամ ծանրաձող։
«Մենք գլխի էինք ընկնում, որ նա, հավանաբար, ամենատարեց մարզուհիներից մեկն է, բայց զարմացանք (եւ շատ էինք հպարտանում նրանով), երբ մեզ ասացին, որ նա համաշխարհային ռեկորդ է սահմանել։ Մեր ամբողջ ընտանիքը հպարտանում է, որ մեր մայրը ռեկորդակիր է, եւ Գինեսի ռեկորդների գիրքը նրան արժանացրել է այդ պատվին»,- ասել է ծանրորդուհու դուստրը՝ Հաննան։
Նախկինում Էդիթը պարի ուսուցչուհի է եղել տեղի կենտրոնում, եւ պատանության տարիներին հիացել է Շիռլի Թեմփլով, Ջինջեր Ռոջերսով եւ Ֆրեդ Ասթերով։
Իր 100-ամյակին Էդիթն արդեն հասցրել էր դառնալ ոչ միայն մայր եւ տատիկ, այլեւ ծոռների ու ծոռան ծոռի տատիկ։
Եվ չնայած համավարակի պատճառով կինն ստիպված էր ժամանակավորապես դադարեցնել մարզումները, նա հատուկ անհամբերությամբ է սպասում մարզադահլիճ վերադառնալուն եւ մարզիչ աշխատելուն, որպեսզի շուտով նորից մասնակցի մրցումներին։ Իր վերջին մրցման ժամանակ 2019թ. Էդիթը 98 տարեկան 94 օրական էր։
