ՀՀ ՊՆ մամուլի նախկին խոսնակ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմի մասին հաղորդումների երկրորդ մասում նշում է, թե դրանք չեն ծառայելու ներկայիս վատ, մեղադրանքների տոնին: «Շատ է խոսվում, թե պատերազմի ընթացքում եղել է ավելորդ օպտիմիզմ, եւ մարդիկ հավատացել են, թե ամեն ինչ իդեալական վիճակում է: Իհարկե, դա այդպես չի եղել, չնայած դրան, որ պատերազմի առաջին 10 օրը, կարծում եմ, որեւէ մեկը չէր կասկածում, որ ամեն ինչ շատ արագ է ավարտվելու ու մեր հաղթանակով: Եվ այդ պահին, այո, կար բավականին բարձր օպտիմիզմի դոզա: Բայց դա միայն իմ կողմից չէր, դա բոլորի կողմից էր, ովքեր նյուզմեյքեր էին եւ ում կարդում էին: Հետո այդ տոնը բավականին թուլացել է, իջել, իսկ պատերազմի վերջին 10-12 օրերի ընթացքում ընդհանրապես այսպիսի միտում չկար: Իմ համար, օրինակ, շատ տարօրինակ բաներ տեղի ունեցան, որոնք մինչեւ այսօր չեմ կարողանում գտնել, չնայած, ես այդ ուղղությամբ բրիֆինգի ժամանակ զգուշացնում էի, որ անիմաստ օպտիմիզմների ծայրահեղության մեջ պետք չի ընկնել եւ ոչ էլ՝ ծայրահեղ ընկճախտի մեջ: Օրինակ, ոչ պաշտոնական հոսքերով հաճախ հայտնվում էին արցախյան բարբառով հեռախոսազրույցներ, որտեղ խոսվում էր, որ մենք իբր արդեն հասել ենք Գետաշեն, հարձակվում ենք, որ հյուսիսային ուղղությամբ մեր վիճակը լավ է, հարձակման ենք անցել եւ այլն եւ այլն: Դրանք տեղեկատվական կենտրոնի հետ ոչ մի կապ չունեն եւ ես մինչեւ այսօր տեղեկություն չունեմ, թե այդ ձայնագրությունները որտեղից էին հայտնվում: Բնականաբար, մարդիկ չեն խորանալու, թե այդ ամեն ինչը Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանի հետ կապ ունի, թե չունի: Եվ այդ ավելորդ պոզիտիվի դոզան եւս, կոպիտ ասած, դիտարկվում է որպես ընդհանուր քարոզչության էլեմենտ: Բայց ոչ ես եւ որքան գիտեմ ՊՈԱԿ-ը տեղյակ չեն դրանից: Ես սկզբում չէի հավատում ինձ հասնող այն տեղեկատվությանը, թե հատուկ մարդիկ կան, որոնք քայքայիչ գործողություններ են ծավալում ու շատ կեղտոտ բան են կատարում՝ քաղաքականացնելով, որ հողերը ծախված են, միեւնույն է, չեք կարող դիմադրել: Ու շատ-շատ գյուղերի դիմադրությունը էդպես կոտրվում էր»,-ասում է նա:
