«Ստացվող ահազանգերի համաձայն` այս պահին ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերը կրակում են Սոթքի լեռնանցքի ուղղությամբ:
Հատուկ նշում` կրակոցներն են այն վայրից են, որտեղ տեղակայված են հողմակները: Իսկ այդ տարածքը գտնվում է Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Գեղամասար համայնքի Սոթքի լեռնանցքի շրջանում (200 հա հողամաս), որը ՀՀ կառավարությունը 2000թ. դեկտեմբերի որոշմամբ տրամադրել է ՀՀ-ում իրավական գրանցում ունեցող ընկերությանը և կնքել 30 տարի ժամկետով վարձակալության պայմանագիր՝ ապահովելով գույքային իրավունքների պետական գրանցումը:
Այսինքն` ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերը անօրինական են ներկա ՀՀ գործարար ընկերությանը պատկանող տարածքում, որտեղից պարբերաբար են թիրախավորում Սոթքի ոսկու հանքավայրը, Գեղամասար համայնքը և ՀՀ զինված ուժերի դիրքերը: Ընդ որում, իրենց անօրինական ներկայությամբ ՀՀ գործարար ընկերությանը նրանք պատճառել են շուրջ 5,000,000 ԱՄՆ դոլարի վնաս»:
