INTERVIEWԱզգային ժողովում փակ քննարկում է տեղի ունեցել սահմանին իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ, որին մասնակցել է ՀՀ Զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի ներկայացուցիչը: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողներին հայտնել է ՀՀ ԶՈՒ ԳՇ օպերատիվ գլխավոր վարչության պետ-ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետի տեղակալ, գեներալ-մայոր Էդվարդ Ասրյանը՝ ասելով, որ հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են մի շարք հարցեր ինչպես արևելյան սահմանագոտում, այնպես էլ՝ Երասխ-Սադարակ ուղղությամբ ստեղծված օպերատիվ-մարտավարական իրադրության վերաբերյալ:
«Ես խմբակցությունների անդամներին ներկայացրեցի՝ ինչպիսի իրադրություն է ստեղծվել ու ներկա դրությամբ ինչպիսին է այն: Կարող եմ փաստել, որ օպերատիվ-մարտավարական իրադրությունում Զինված ուժերը կանգնած են իրենց դիրքերում, հակառակորդի մի շարք սադրիչ գործողություններին տալիս են արժանի պատասխան, ու եթե մեր հանրության շրջանում տարածվում են տեղեկություններ, թե մենք ունենում ենք կորուստներ, իսկ հակառակորդը անկորուստ է, ապա պետք է ասեմ, որ դա այդպես չէ, իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում. հակառակորդը նույնպես ունի կորուստներ՝ մարդկային, ինչպես անվերադարձ, այնպես էլ սանիտարական կորուստներ: Մենք վերահսկում ենք մեր սահմանները, և Զինված ուժերին, մեր բանակին առաջադրված այդ խնդիրը մենք կատարելու ենք պատվով», - ասել է գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալ Էդվարդ Ասրյանը:
Ազգային ժողովի «Հայաստան» դաշինքը, ի դեմս խմբակցության ղեկավար, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի, օգոստոսի 17-ի նիստին առաջարկել էր փակ կամ բաց ռեժիմով քննարկել սահմանային իրավիճակը՝ հաշվի առնելով տիրող լարվածությունը, գրանցված նոր միջադեպերը և ստացվող իրարամերժ տեղեկությունները:
