Ս.թ. oգոստոսի 23-ին ՀՀ վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանը բավարարեց «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր, «Իզմիրլյան» ԲԿ նախկին տնօրեն, բժշկական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, Արմեն Չարչյանին գրավի դիմաց ազատ արձակելու որոշման դեմ դատախազության բողոքը և կայացրեց վերջինիս կալանավորելու որոշում։
Արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների համատեքստում դեռ ամիսներ առաջ պրոֆեսոր Արմեն Չարչյանի նկատմամբ սկսված քաղաքական հետապնդումները ոչ իրավաչափ էին և հակասում էին ՀՀ օրենքներին։ Մեկ ամիս ապօրինի կալանքի տակ պահվելուց հետո, դատարանը պրոֆեսորին ազատ արձակելու որոշում էր կայացրել, սակայն այսօր մենք ականատես ենք իշխանության ու օրենքի հերթական չարաշահման։ 
«Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցությունն արձանագրում է, որ պատգամավորի անձեռնմխելիություն ունեցող պրոֆեսոր Արմեն Չարչյանի նկատմամբ դատարանի կայացրած նմանօրինակ որոշումը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան քաղաքական հետապնդում և խայտառակ ապօրինություն։

«Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցությունն իր զորակցությունն է հայտնում խորհրդարանական ընդդիմադիր ուժի պատգամավոր, պրոֆեսոր Արմեն Չարչյանին և պահանջում է իրավապահներին գործել բացառապես օրենքի շրջանակներում, զերծ մնալ գործող իշխանությունների կամայականություններից բխող անձի հեղինակությանը վնասող և իրավունքը ոտնահարող գործողություններից։ 
«Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցությունը վերահաստատում է, որ ուժերի ներածին չափով պայքարելու է արդարադատության հաստատման համար՝ հույս ունենալով, որ կլինի իրավունքից և օրենքից բխող դատական ակտ և պրոֆեսոր Արմեն Չարչյանը կլինի ազատության մեջ։
