ԱՄՆ-ի շուրջ 1,5 հազար քաղաքացիներ եւ ամերիկյան այցագրեր ունեցողներ են հավաքվել Քաբուլի օդանավակայանի մոտ՝ հույս ունենալով անցնելու օդանավակայանի տարածք եւ տարհանվելու Միացյալ Նահանգներ: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, օգոստոսի 25-ին այդ մասին հայտնել Է Reuters գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով արեւմտյան դիվանագետի, որը գերադասել Է չհայտնել անունը:
Նրա տվյալներով՝ Աֆղանստանի մայրաքաղաքի օդանավակայանի շուրջն ընկած տարածքը լեփ-լեցուն Է մարդկանցով՝ չնայած Քաբուլում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպանության հորդորներին չփորձելու ինքնուրույն հասնել օդանավակայան առանց ամերիկյան իշխանություների կողմից հստակ հրահանգի եւ անհապաղ հեռանալու օդանավակայանի երեք հսկիչ անցակետերից՝ անվտանգության սպառնալիքների պատճառով:
Ինչպես նշում Է դիվանագետը, օդանավակայանի աշխատանքը դանդաղել Է, բայց օրվա ընթացքում այն կսկսի գործել ուժեղացված ռեժիմով: ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինեկենն օգոստոսի 25-ին հայտնել Է, որ, Վաշինգտոնի գնահատումներով՝ Աֆղանստանում կարող Է Է մնացած լինեն շուրջ մեկուկես հազար ամերիկացիներ: ԱՄՆ-ի զինված ուժերի ստորաբաժանումներն ուղարկվել են Քաբուլի օդանավակայան՝ Աֆղանստանից ամերիկացիների, ԱՄՆ-ի դաշնակից երկրների քաղաքացիների եւ աֆղան փախստականների տարհանումն ապահովելու համար:
Ինչպես օգոստոսի 24-ին հայտարարել Է ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը, վարչակազմի կարծիքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ի իշխանությունները հասցնում են տարհանման գործողությունն ավարտել մինչեւ օգոստոսի 31-ը, ինչպես եւ պլանավորվել Էր: Նա նաեւ ճշտել Է, որ Պենտագոնին եւ Պետդեպարտամենտին հանձնարարել Է մշակել ժամկետեների ճշտման արտակարգ պլաններ ի դեպս այդ անհրաժեշտության, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
