210 խաղաղ բնակչի են սպանել
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱռնվազն 210 մարդ է սպանվել անցյալ շաբաթ Եթովպիայի արեւմուտքում` «Օրոմոյի ազատագրական բանակի» անջատողական խմբավորման զինյալների կողմից` քաղաքացիական օբյեկտների վրա մի շարք հարձակումների արդյունքում: Այս մասին հինգշաբթի հայտնել է Agence France-Presse-ը՝ հղում անելով Եթովպիայի մարդու իրավունքների հանձնաժողովին, որը ստեղծվել է երկրի կառավարության որոշմամբ:
Հանձնաժողովը հայտնել է, որ անջատողականների զինված խումբը օգոստոսի 18-ին հարձակվել է Օրոմիայի նահանգի արեւմուտքում գտնվող Ջիդա Կիրեմու շրջանի բնակիչների վրա եւ սպանել 150 մարդու: Հաջորդ օրը զինյալները այդ շրջանում նոր հարձակում են իրականացրել, որի հետեւանքով եւս 60 մարդ է զոհվել: Ընդգծվում է, որ գրոհայինների հարձակումները «էթնիկ բնույթ են կրել»: Ավելի վաղ Reuters-ը հայտնել է հարձակման առաջին օրը 150 զոհերի մասին, փոխանցել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«Օրոմոյի ազատագրական բանակը»՝ «Օրոմոյի ազատագրական ճակատի» ռազմական թեւը, հաճախ ինքնուրույն է գործում: Դրա նպատակը Եթովպիայի Օրոմիա նահանգի անկախացումն է: Դաշնային իշխանությունները «Օրոմոյի ազատագրական բանակը» հայտարարել են ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն: Խմբավորման ղեկավարները օգոստոսի 11-ին հաղորդել են, որ իրենք համաձայնության են եկել «Տիգրայի ազատագրման ժողովրդական ճակատի» (TPLF) հետ՝ Եթովպիայի կառավարությունը տապալելու նպատակով:
