Արցախի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանը Արցախի Հանրապետության հռչակման 30-ամյակի առիթով հարցազրույց է տվել «Արմենպրես»-ին՝ասելով, որ սա իր մեջ շատ կարևոր խորհուրդ պարունակող իրադարձություն է, քանի որ Արցախի Հանրապետությունը ստեղծվել է, կարողացել է իրեն պաշտպանել և զարգանալ համայն հայության ջանքերով:

«Հասկանալի է, որ այս իրավիճակում՝ երրորդ պատերազմից հետո, Արցախում շատ քիչ են լինում շնորհավորանքները, բայց այս շնորհավորանքը պարտադիր է, որովհետև Արցախի Հանրապետության ստեղծման, կայացման, պաշտպանության և զորացման համար իրենց կյանքն են նվիրաբերել մեր ժողովրդի լավագույն զավակները՝ իրենց արյունով, իրենց քրտինքով, իրենց ամեն ինչով:

Սա շատ կարևոր իրադարձություն է և մեր ազգային-ազատագրական պայքարի տրամաբանական զարգացումն է: Պայքարի, որի վերջին փուլը սկսվել է 1988 թ. մեկնարկից և մինչև հիմա շարունակվում է: Սա մի տոն է, որը բոլորս պարտավոր ենք հիշել, տոնել, որովհետև սա, ի վերջո, մեր երկրի անձնագիրն է», - ասել է Արցախի արտգործնախարարը:

Դավիթ Բաբայանն իր խոսքում շեշտել է, որ արցախապահպանությունն ու արցախապաշտպանությունը, Արցախի սուբյեկտայնության պահպանումը այսօր կենսական նշանակություն ունի, քանի որ եթե չլինի հայկական Արցախը՝ ծայրաստիճան վտանգված է լինելու նաև ողջ Հայաստանը: Զրուցակցի խոսքով՝ Արցախի Հանրապետության գոյությամբ շահագրգռված են նաև մի շարք կարևորագույն ուժային կենտրոններ:

«Արցախը պետք է արժեք և սրբություն լինի Հայաստանում և Սփյուռքում: Դա մեծապես կնպաստի, որպեսզի Արցախը կարողանա կանգնել և մեր թիկունքը լինել: Իսկ որպեսզի ճիշտ աշխարհաքաղաքականություն վարենք և ունենանք հաջողություններ արտաքին դաշտում, պետք է մեր սրտերում, հոգիներում, մտքերում, ուղեղներում կարևորենք այդ ամենը, Արցախը արժևորենք:

 Կրկնում եմ՝ Արցախը գաղափար է, անձեր չեն: Արցախապահպանությունը փիլիսոփայություն պետք է լինի, որովհետև սրանից է կախված Հայաստանի ապագան», - նշել է Դավիթ Բաբայանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ մենք այլ տարբերակ չունենք, քան գաղափարախոսական ժողովուրդ լինելը, քանի որ նյութական դաշտում չենք կարող մրցել Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի հետ:
