«Հանձնաժողովի նախագահի տեղակալի ընտրություն երկրորդ փորձից: Սեպտեմբերի 6-ին նիստ կգումարի ԱԺ պաշտպանության եւ անվտանգության հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովը, որի օրակարգում մեկ հարց է՝ հանձնաժողովի նախագահի տեղակալի ընտրություն: Բանն այն է, որ օգոստոսի 31-ին իշխանական պատգամավորները դեմ քվեարկեցին «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Արթուր Ղազինյանի թեկնածությանը։

Կողմ էին միայն «Պատիվ ունեմ» ու «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավորները, սակայն ընդդիմադիրների ձայները բավարար չէին ընտրվելու համար։ Հանձնաժողովի նախագահի տեղակալի ընտրության քննարկումը տևեց մեկուկես ժամ։ Իշխանությունը ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորին շատ հարցեր ուներ՝ դեռ նրա վաղ անցյալի մասին։ Ըստ այդմ, պետք է տեղի ունենա նոր ընտրություն եւ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկացավ, որ այս անգամ եւս առաջադրվելու է Արթուր ղազինյանը: Բանն այն է, որ այս պաշտոնը հատկացված է հենց ընդդիմությանը ու թեկնածուն պետք է լինի ընդդիմադիր խմբակցությունից:

Այս հանձնաժողովում ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորներն են Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը, Արթուր Ղազինյանը, Գեղամ Նազարյանը եւ Գեղամ Մանուկյանը: Սակայն թեկնածությունը կրկին կանգ է առել Ղազինյանի վրա, որն, ի դեպ, բանակում չի ծառայել: Հետաքրքիր է՝ ինչպես իրենց կդրսեւորեն այս անգամ իշխանական խմբակցության պատգամավորները»,-գրում է թերթը։
