Լոս Անջելեսի Թարզանա արվարձանում բնակվող հայ ամուսինները փախել են դաշնային իրավապահներից՝ չսպասելով խարդախության մեղադրանքներով դատավճռին։
DailyNews.com-ի փոխանցմամբ, միլիոնավոր դոլարների յուրացման մեջ մեղադրվող ամուսինները կտրել են էլեկտրական ապարանջանները։ 43-ամյա Ռիչարդ Այվազյանն և 37-ամյա Մարիետա Տեր-Աբելյանը, ըստ Հետաքննությունների դաշնային բյուրոյի, ընտանիքի մյուս անդամների հետ մեղադրվում էին 18 միլիոն դոլար յուրացնելու մեջ։
Նրանք Սան Ֆերնանդո հովտում կեղծ բիզնեսներ էին բացել, կորոնավիրուսի հետևանքների մեղմման ծրագրին հայտեր ներկայացրել և գումարներ յուրացրել։ Ներկայումս Այվազյանն ու Տեր-Աբելյանը միջազգային հետախուզման մեջ են։
Նշենք, որ նույն գործով մեղադրվում են նաև 40-ամյա Արթուր Այվազյանն ու 39-ամյա Թամարա Դադյանը։ Լոս Անջելեսի մեծ ժյուրին յուրաքանչյուրին 12 դրվագով մեղադրանք էր առաջադրել։ Ռիչարդ Այվազյանին նաև մեղադրել էին տվյալների գողության մեջ։
 
Ըստ քննության, նրանք կեղծ, գողացված կամ սինթետիկ տվյալներ են օգտագործել՝ փոքր բիզնեսի աջակցության ծրագրից գումար ստանալու համար։ Երբ ֆինանսական հաստատությունները հաստատել են հայտերը, նրան գումարներն օգտագործել են անձնական վայելքների վրա։
 
Զույգերը 3,25 միլիոն դոլարանոց տուն էր գնել Թարզանայում, և 1 միլիոն դոլարանոց տուն՝ Գլենդելում։ Ռիչարդ Այվազյանին ու Մարիետա Տեր-Աբելյանին նախքան փախուստը մինչև 30 տարվա բանտարկություն էր սպառնում։
