Սեպտեմբերի վեցին կյանքից հեռացել է ֆրանսիացի հանարահայտ դերասան Ժան Պոլ Բելմոնդոն: Նա կյանքից հեռացել է 88 տարեկանում: ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը ներկայացրել է մեծանուն դերասանի հիշատակին նրա գործընկերների և հասարակական գործիչների հնչեցրած մտքերն ու ցավակցական խոսքերը:

«Նա մի ամբողջ դարաշրջան էր»,- ասել է Ռուսաստանի կինոգործիչների միության ղեկավար, ռեժիսոր Նիկիտա Միխալկովը՝ նշելով, որ Բելմոնդոն դեռևս կյանքի օրոք արդեն լեգենդ էր, քանի որ նոր էջ էր բացել կինոաշխարհի պատմության մեջ: Վերջինս ֆրանսիացուն բնութագրել է որպես «անհավանական հմայքի» տեր մարդ:  

«Նրան շրջապատում էր ծիծաղը»,- իր ցավակցություն է հայտնել Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը,- «Նա հավերժ հիանալի կմնա: Ժան Պոլ Բելմոնդոն ազգային արժեք էր»: Իր խոսքում ֆրանսիացի առաջնորդը հղում է կատարել «Հիանալին» ֆիլմին (1973), որտեղ Բելմոնդոն մարմնավորել է գլխավոր կերպարը:

 «Յոթերորդ արվեստը հսկայի է կորցրել: Ֆրանսիան լեգենդ է կորցրել: Եվ մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրը սգում է ընկերոջ կորուստը: Ցտեսություն, Բեբել»,- գրել է Ֆրանսիայի մշակույթի նախկին նախարար Ֆրանկ Ռիեստերը:

«Նրա գնալով մենք կորցրինք իրական ֆրանսիական նրբագեղության մի մասը, որն այնքան պակասում է ներկայիս կինոյին»,- գրել է Ֆրանսիայի նախագահական ընտրությունների թեկնածու, «Ազգային ճակատ» կուսակցության նախագահ Մարին Լը Պենը:

«Միշտ մարդկանց ուրախություն էր պարգևում»,- շեշտել է ֆրանսիացի երգչուհի Միրեյ Մատյոն՝ Բելմոնդոյի մահը հսկայական կորուստ անվանելով ֆրանսիական մշակույթի համար: «Դա մեծ կորուստ է բոլորիս համար, կինոյի աշխարհի համար, Ֆրանսիայի համար: Նա մարմնավորում էր ֆրանսիական մշակութային ժառանգությունը: Նա Ֆրանսիայի նույնպիսի խորհրդանիշ է, ինչպես և Էյֆելյան աշտարակը»,- ասել է վերջինս:

Ֆրանսիացու կինոդարանի ամենահայտնի և սիրված ֆիլմերից են «Վերջին շնչով» (Àbout de souffle, 1960), «Հիանալին» (Le Magnifique, 1973), «Պրոֆեսիոնալը» (Le Professionnel, 1981), «Ասը ասերից» (L'As des As, 1982), «Կողոպտիչները» (Le casse, 1971) ժապավենները:
