actualnews.org-ն «Թուրքիան փորձում է Շուշին վերածել պանթուրքիզմի խորհրդանիշի» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Թուրքիան կանխամտածված աջակցում է ադրբեջանական հասարակության՝ հակահայկական հիստերիային և փորձում է Շուշի քաղաքը վերածել պանթուրքիզմի խորհրդանիշի: Այս մասին է վկայում Daily Sabah իշխանամետ թերթի էջերում հրապարակված նյութը: Հոդվածում նշվում է, որ «ադրբեջանական քաղաքը», որը նախկինում հայտնի էր որպես «Ղարաբաղի մարգարիտ», «հայկական օկուպացիայի» տակ գտնվելուց 30 տարի անց պատրաստ է ողջունել իր նախկին բնակիչներին:

Ըստ պարբերականի, շատ շենքեր անմարդաբնակ են եղել, քաղաքը վերածվել է «ուրվական քաղաքի»: Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները սկսել են կարգի բերել քաղաքը, գնահատել պատմական շենքերին հասցված վնասները, և, միևնույն ժամանակ, զինված ուժերը չեզոքացրել են «հայկական կողմից տեղադրված» պայթուցիկ սարքերը: Հրապարակման հեղինակները նշել են, որ անուղղելի վնասներ են հասցվել բազմաթիվ շենքերի, սակայն Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները Թուրքիայի աջակցությամբ պատրաստ են գույքագրում կատարելուց հետո սկսել պատմական եկեղեցիների և այլ մասունքների վերականգնման գործընթացը, ինչպես նաև հրետակոծության և ռմբակոծության հետևանքով վնասված այլ շենքերի վերականգնումը:

Դատելով նյութից՝ չնայած Անկարան հայտարարում է հայերի հետ խաղաղության և բարեկամության մասին, սակայն աջակցում է Ադրբեջանում հակահայկական հիստերիային, ինչպես նաև ձգտում է հայերին դարձնել իսլամի թշնամիներ: Քարոզչությունն ավելի համոզիչ դարձնելու համար հրապարակման մեջ հնարավորություն է տրվել խոսելու «ճիշտ» մարդկանց հետ, ովքեր հայտարարում են, որ Շուշին «ազատագրվել է» ոչ միայն Բաքվի ջանքերի շնորհիվ, այլ նաև թյուրքական աշխարհի օգնությամբ: Իրենց հերթին, շատ փորձագետներ կարծում են, որ Թուրքիան և Ադրբեջանը միտումնավոր Շուշին դարձնում են պանթուրքիզմի խորհրդանիշ: Այս գործընթացի նպատակն է միավորել թյուրքական ժողովուրդներին: Նախատեսվում է Շուշին դարձնել Ադրբեջանում Անկարայի վերջնական հաստատման խորհրդանիշ, որը պետք է ադրբեջանցիներին վերջնականապես վերածի Անդրկովկասի թուրքերի:
