Հայ-ռուսական (սլավոնական) համալսարանի գործունեության պայմանների մասին Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի կառավարությունների միջև ստորագրված համաձայնագրով համալսարանը հայերենով դասավանդում իրականացնելու իրավունք կստանա: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասին ԱԺ ամբիոնից հայտարարեց ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Արմեն Աշոտյանը 2015 թվականի մայիսի 14-ին Երեւանում ստորագրված «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կառավարության եւ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության կառավարության միջեւ Երեւան քաղաքում Հայ-ռուսական համալսարանի գործունեության պայմանների մասին» համաձայնագրի վավերացման հարցի քննարկման ժամանակ:

«Ներկայացված պայմանագիրը վերաբերում է Հայ-ռուսական (սլավոնական) համալսարանի գործունեության ընդլայնմանը միտված մի քանի նախաձեռնություններին, որոնցից երկուսը ցանկանում եմ շեշտադրել: Նոր պայմանագրով  համալսարանը ստանում է իրավունք դասավանդելու նաև հայերեն, դա կարևոր նախաձեռնություն է, մենք ռուսական կողմի հետ համաձայնեցնելով, պայմանագրում դա ֆիքսեցինք»,-ասաց Արմեն Աշոտյանը:

Նրա խոսքով` երկրորդ կարևոր կետն այն է, որ համաձայնագիրը թույլ կտա Սլավոնական համալսարանին անարգել օգտվել ՌԴ պետական բյուջեի գիտությանն ուղղված հատկացումներից: «Հատկապես ենթակառուցվածքային բարելավումների, գիտական լաբորատորիաների և այլ ծրագրերի մեջ ներգրավվելու տեսանկյունից»,-հավելեց ԿԳ նախարարը` հավելելով, որ մինչ պայմանագրի վավերացումն էլ Սլավոնական համալսարանը գիտական ծրագրերի համար լրացուցիչ գումար է ստացել ՌԴ պետբյուջեից:

Նա առաջարկեց խորհրդարանին վավերացնել համաձայնագիրը մինչև տարեվերջ, որ հաջորդ տարվանից համալսարանը գործի դրան համապատասխան:
