ՀՀ անկախության 30-ամյակին նվիրված միջոցառման ժամանակ ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Հրապարակում իր ելույթում ասաց․

«Արդեն երկար ժամանակ քննարկում ենք, թե ինչպիսի՞ նախագծով պիտի հավերժացնենք արցախյան բոլոր պատերազմների նահատակների հիշատակը, որ խորհրդանշենք նրանց ներկայությունը, նրանց ապրելը մեր կողքին: Եւ որոշում ենք կայացրել Երեւանի բուսաբանական այգում հիմնադրել Կյանքի պուրակը, Կենաց պուրակը, որտեղ արցախյան բոլոր պատերազմների բոլոր զոհերի կենդանությունն ու ներկայությունը խորհրդանշող ծառեր կտնկվեն, իսկ պուրակի կուլմինացիան կլինի Կենաց ծառը, մեր բոլոր նահատակներին եւ հայրենիքին տված նրանց կյանքը խորհրդանշող:

Դա չի լինելու հուշակոթող, դա լինելու է կենաց պուրակ, որտեղ վազվզելու, աղմկելու, խաղալու են երեխաները, երիտասարդները ժամանց են ունենալու, մեծահասակները ճեմելու են ու զրուցելու, եւ այդ պուրակը լինելու է նրա մասին, որ ահա այդ բոլոր մարդկանց, այս բոլոր մարդկանց՝ Հայաստանի ու Արցախի ապրելու համար են զոհվել նրանք: Եւ Հայաստանի ապրելը, Արցախի ապրելը, խաղաղ ու զարգացող հայոց պետականությունը պիտի դառնա այն հաղթանակը, որ նրանք կերտեցին:

Այստեղ ահա, այս լուսավոր հրապարակի սրտում տեղադրված, Հայոց դրոշներով պարուրված եւ պատվո պահակախմբի կողմից պահպանվող այդ ծառերը կտեղափոխվեն բուսաբանական այգի՝ խորհրդանշելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պատմության նոր դարաշրջանի մեկնարկը, խաղաղ զարգացման դարաշրջանի մեկնարկը:

Ապրի՛ր Հայաստան եւ բարձրացիր, ապրի՛ր Արցախ եւ բարձրացիր՝ հանուն նահատակների, որոնք ընկան, որ դու ելնես: Որոնք ընկան, որ դու ելնես:

Շնորհավորում եմ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անկախության 30-րդ տարեդարձը»։
