Ֆրենկ Փալոնը շնորհավորել է Անկախության տոնի կապակցությամբ՝ ընդգծելով Հայաստանի արձանագրած զգալի առաջընթացը
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերի հանձնախմբի համանախագահ կոնգրեսական Ֆրենկ Փալոնը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Հայաստանին և հայ ժողովրդին Հայաստանի Անկախության օրվա առթիվ՝ ընդգծելով այն զգալի առաջընթացը, որ Հայաստանն արձանագրել է 1990-ական թթ. տեղի ունեցած իր առաջին հայաստանյան այցելությունից ի վեր: «Արմենպրես»-ին այդ մասին հայտնել են ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ից:
«Ցանկանում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել, որ այս դժվարին ժամանակներում հնարավոր եղավ առանձնահատուկ դարձնել Հայաստանի Անկախության օրվա և ԱՄՆ-Հայաստան հարաբերությունների տոնակատարությունը: Ես կցանկանայի ընդգծել այն զգալի առաջընթացը, որն արձանագրել է Հայաստանը՝ 1990-ականներին իմ առաջին այցից ի վեր: Ես անձամբ ականատեսը եղա այն զգալի փոփոխությունների, որն իրականացրել է Հայաստանը այսքան կարճ ժամանակահատվածում, քանի որ 2018 թ. թավշյա հեղափոխությունը ոգեշնչող էր», - իր ուղերձում ասել է ամերիկացի կոնգրեսականը՝ նշելով, որ հստակ առաջընթաց է նկատում Հայաստանի երիտասարդ կառավարությունում, որը նպատակաուղղված է ամրապնդել երկրի ժողովրդավարությունը, իրականացնել հակակոռուպցիոն միջոցառումներ և ամրապնդել օրենքի գերակայությունը:
Փաշինյանի կառավարությունն, ըստ Փալոնի, շարունակում է ցուցադրել իր անկեղծ մտադրությունը՝ քաղաքացիական հասարակության և ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների բարելավման, այդ թվում դատական համակարգի ընթացիկ բարեփոխումների ուղղությամբ: Իսկ Միացյալ Նահանգների աջակցության ավելացումը, կոնգրեսականի խոսքով, կարող է մեծապես խթանել Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարական գործընթացներին:
Ֆրենկ Փալոնն անչափ ոգևորված է այն փաստով, որ Կոնգրեսի Հայկական հարցերի հանձնախմբի քրտնաջան աշխատանքի արդյունքում Կոնգրեսի 2021 թ. ֆինանսավորման օրինագծում ներառվել է 50 միլիոն դոլարի օգնություն Հայաստանին և լրացուցիչ օգնություն՝ Արցախում ականազերծման աշխատանքների նպատակով:
«Մենք շարունակում ենք ջանքեր գործադրել, որպեսզի ապահովենք, որ այդ ձևակերպումները տեղ գտնեն վերջնական օրինագծում, որը հավանաբար կստորագրվի նախագահ Բայդենի կողմից այս աշնանը: Այս հանձնառությունը մեծ նշանակություն կունենա օգնելու Հայաստանի երիտասարդ, ժողովրդավարական կառավարությանը` հետագայում տնտեսական, կառավարման և օրենքի գերակայության բարեփոխումների իրականացման համար», - շեշտել է Փալոնը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ իրենց կհաջողվի զարգացնել Միացյալ Նահանգների հանձնառությունը ժողովրդավարության հանդեպ Հայաստանում և Արցախում, որն այս տարի անցկացրեց ազատ, արդար և թափանցիկ ընտրություններ:
«Ես հավատում եմ, որ նման քայլերի ձեռնարկումը և անհրաժեշտ ներդրումների ապահովումը կխթանի ԱՄՆ-Հայաստան ռազմավարական հարաբերություններին և կաջակցի, որ արդեն իսկ առկա ժողովրդավարական շարժումը առավել աճ գրանցի: Վստահ եղեք, որ Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերի հանձնախումբը կշարունակի աշխատել մեր հայ գործընկերների հետ՝ ձգտելով ապահովել ԱՄՆ-Հայաստան ամուր հարաբերություններ առաջիկա ամիսների և տարիների ընթացքում»,- հավաստիացրել է Փալոնը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ Հայաստանի ներկայիս ղեկավարությունը կշարունակի առաջնորդել երկիրը դեպի ավելի լավ ապագա:
