Այսօր` սեպտեմբերի 24-ին, կրակոցներ են հնչել Երևանում։ Ժամը 02։40-ի սահմաններում ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Աբովյան փողոցում՝ «Կինո Մոսկվայի» հարևանությամբ, կրակոցներ են հնչել, և կան վիրավորներ։

Մինչ դեպքի վայրում աշխատում էին ոստիկանները, թիվ 1 համալսարանական հիվանդանոցից ահազանգ ստացվեց ոստիկանության կենտրոնական բաժին, որ հրազենային վնասվածքներով իրենց մոտ են տեղափոխվել 2 քաղաքացի։ Հիվանդանոց մեկնած Կենտրոնի ոստիկանության ծառայողները պարզել են՝ վիրավորներն են Տավուշի մարզի բնակիչներ՝ 23-ամյա Արման Խաչատրյանը և 24-ամյա Սերգեյ Մելիքյանը։

Ըստ բժիշկների հայտնածի՝ վերջիններս ի վիճակի չեն կատարվածի մասին բացատրություններ տալու, քանի որ նրանցից մեկը գտնվում է ծայրահեղ ծանր վիճակում, մյուսն էլ՝ միջին ծանր, և գտնվում են վիրահատարանում։

Ֆոտոլրագրողի տեղեկություններով՝ վիրավորներից Ս. Մելիքյանը Ազգային ժողովի նախկին պատգամավոր, Հանրապետական կուսակցության անդամ Գագիկ Մելիքյանի որդին է։  Փաստի առթիվ քննչական 3-րդ բաժնում հարուցվել է քրեական գործ՝ ՀՀ քր.օր-ի 34-104 հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 1-ին կետի և 235 հոդվածի 1-ին մասի հատկանիշներով։ 

Ոստիկաններն ու քննիչները տաք հետքերով պարզել են, որ վիճաբանությունը տեղի է ունեցել Աբովյան 3/1 հասցեում գործող «ԷՎՆ» սրճարանում առաջացող վիճաբանության ժամանակ, որը այնուհետև շարունակվել է սրճարանից դուրս՝ Աբովյան 5 և 7 հասցեների միջև ընկած միջանցիկ ճանապարհին, որտեղ էլ անհայտ անձը դեռևս չպարզված տեսակի հրազենից մի քանի անգամ կրակոցներ է արձակել Ս. Մելիքյանի և Ա. Խաչատրյանի ուղղությամբ։  Դեպքի վայրի զննությամբ քննիչները հայտնաբերել են արնանման հետքեր, 3 հատ 9 մմ տրամաչափի փամփուշտի պարկուճ և 2 հատ 9 մմ տրամաչափի փամփուշտի գնդակ։
