Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ն ուղերձ է հղել սեպտեմբերի 27-ի առիթով։
Հայրապետական ուղերձն ամբողջությամբ ներկայացնում ենք ստորև․
«Սիրելի հավատավոր ժողովուրդ,
Այսօր, ցավը մեր հոգում, մենք հիշում ենք 44-օրյա աղետաբեր պատերազմի տագնապալի օրերը, մեր բանակի քաջարի դիմադրությունը թշնամու դավադիր հարձակմանը։ Հիշում ենք սխրանքները զինվոր ու սպա մեր զավակների, ովքեր չընկրկեցին թուրք-ադրբեջանական գերակշռող ուժերի առջև:
Պատերազմը մեծ փորձություն էր, որի պատճառած ավերները և մեր ժողովրդի առջև ծառացած լուրջ մարտահրավերները չեն կարող վճռվել ներհասարակական լարվածության ու պառակտվածության պայմաններում։ Վերելքի մեր ուղին յուրաքանչյուրիցս պահանջում է պատասխանատվության բարձր գիտակցություն և հայրենանվիրումի ոգի, համախմբում և միասնական ջանքեր՝ պաշտպանելու Արցախի մեր ժողովրդի ազատ ապրելու իրավունքը, Հայաստանի սահմանները, հաղթահարելու պատերազմով առավել սրված սոցիալական խնդիրները։ Այս տեսլականով ջանքեր ներդնենք ազգի համախմբան, անհանդուրժողականության ու անհամերաշխության հաղթահարման։
Քրիստոնեական մեր արժեքներին հավատարմությամբ զորանանք և զորացնենք մեր պետականությունը, ազգային-հասարակական մեր կյանքը՝ ամուր պահելով հույսի, հավատի, սիրո և արդարության ուղիներում։ Մաղթում ենք, որ մեր ժողովրդին միշտ լսելի լինի հայրենիքը պաշտպանելու, միասնական լինելու պատգամը, որ թողնում են մեզ հանուն Արցախի անկախ կյանքի և հանուն մեր լուսավոր ապագայի նահատակված մեր քաջորդիները:
Ի խորոց սրտի աղոթում ենք հայրենյաց պաշտպան մեր զոհված հերոսների համար, հայցում մխիթարություն նրանց հարազատներին, ապաքինում մաղթում վիրավորներին և վերադարձ գերյալներին ու անհայտ կորածներին։ Մեր հայցն է առ Աստված, որ Տիրոջ հանապազ օրհնությունը խաղաղության, ապահով ու անվտանգ կյանքի մեջ պահի մեր ժողովրդի զավակներին ի Հայաստան, Արցախ և ի Սփյուռս, այսօր և միշտ.
