Սիրիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ֆայսալ Միքդադը ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի 76-րդ նստաշրջանում հայտարարել է, որ Սիրիան մտադիր է ամբողջությամբ վերականգնել ազգային ինքնիշխանությունը և անօրինական է համարում իր տարածքում ցանկացած օտարերկրյա զորքի առկայությունը, ինչը համաձայնեցված չէ Սիրիայի կառավարության հետ, հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Արտգործնախարարի խոսքով՝ Թուրքիան և Միացյալ Նահանգները օգտագործում են կեղծ պատրվակներ՝ Սիրիայի տարածքում իրենց ռազմական ներկայությունը շարունակելու և նրա բնական պաշարները թալանելու համար, ինչը հակասում է միջազգային իրավունքին և ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ բանաձևերին»:

«Սա պետք է ավարտվի, և մենք պահանջում ենք, որ Թուրքիան և ԱՄՆ-ն առանց նախապայմանների դուրս բերեն զորքերը Սիրիայից», - ասել է Միքդադը:

Նա միաժամանակ նշել է, որ Դամասկոսը իրեն իրավունք է վերապահում օրինական բոլոր միջոցներով հասնել այդ նպատակին:

Սիրիայի ԱԳՆ ղեկավարը Թուրքիային մեղադրել է Սիրիայի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում դեէսկալացիայի գոտի ստեղծելու մասին համաձայնագրից բխող պարտավորությունները չկատարելու համար:

«Արդյունքում Իդլիբ նահանգը դարձել է այնտեղ ներթափանցած օտարերկրյա ահաբեկիչների ինկուբատոր», - նշել է նա:

Նախարարի խոսքով՝ այս իրավիճակը չի կարող անվերջ շարունակվել, և Սիրիան վճռական է տրամադրված, որպեսզի վերջ տա այս ամենին:
