Իրանի ԱԳՆ խոսնակ Սաիդ Խաթիբզադեն երեքշաբթի օրը հայտարարել է, որ Իրանի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում անցկացվող զորավարժություններն երկրի ինքնիշխան խնդիրն է, և Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը չի հանդուրժի Իսրայելի ռեժիմի ներկայությունն իր սահմանների մոտ:

Սաիդ Խաթիբզադեն նշել է, որ զարմանքով է ընդունում Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության Նախագահի հայտարարությունները, քանի որ երկու երկրները լավ, հարգալից հարաբերություններ:

Խաթիբզադեն ասել է, որ Իրանի և Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարները լրջորեն և մանրամասնորեն քննարկել են այս հարցը և այլ թեմաներ՝ Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր ասամբլեայի շրջանակում կայացած հանդիպմանը:

Ըստ նրա` բարձրաստիճան դիվանագետները համաձայնել են շարունակել բանակցությունները պատշաճ պայմաններում:

Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը միշտ մերժել է ցանկացած տեսակի տարածքային օկուպացիա և ընդգծել է երկրների տարածքային ամբողջականության և միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված սահմանների հարգման անհրաժեշտությունը:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ բարիդրացիության սկզբունքի պահպանումը ամենակարևոր թեմաներից է, որը Իրանը ակնկալում է, որ իր հարևանները հաշվի կառնեն:

Դիվանագետը նաեւ բացատրել է, որ Իրանի հյուսիսարեւմտյան շրջաններում զորավարժությունները ինքնիշխան խնդիր են եւ ուղղված են տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության եւ կայունության ապահովմանը:

Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը չի հանդուրժի Իսրայելի ռեժիմի ներկայությունը, չնայած ցուցադրական, Իրանի սահմանների մոտ և կանի այն, ինչ անհրաժեշտ է համարում իր անվտանգության համար:
