ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ն խորը վշտով հայտնում է, որ 63 տարեկան հասակում կյանքից հեռացել է Հալեպում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության խորհրդական Վարդան Հովհաննիսյանը:

«Փորձառու դիվանագետի, գործընկերների հարգանքը և սերը վայելող Վարդան Հովհաննիսյան հիշատակը վառ կմնա մեր հիշողություններում։

Մեր խորին ցավակցությունն ենք հայտնում պարոն Հովհաննիսյանի հարազատներին, մերձավորներին ու ընկերներին և կիսում նրանց վիշտը:

Վարդան Հովհաննիսյանի կենսագրությունը

Ծնվել է 1958թ. օգոստոսի 31-ին։

1980թ. Ավարտել է ԵՊՀ արևելյան լեզուների և գրականության ֆակուլտետը,

1981-1982թթ. ՀԽՍՀ ԳԱ արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի արաբական երկրների նոր և նորագույն պատմության բաժնի ավագ լաբորանտ,

1982-1984թթ. արաբերեն-ռուսերեն լեզուների թարգմանիչ Եմենի Ժողովրդական Դեմոկրատական Հանրապետությունում,

1984-1985թթ. ՀԽՍՀ ԳԱ արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի աշխատակից,

1985-1987թթ. զինվորական ծառայություն,

1987-1988թթ. ՀԽՍՀ ԳԱ արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի աշխատակից,

1988-1992թթ. թարգմանիչ Եմենի Ժողովրդական Դեմոկրատական Հանրապետությունում,

1993-1996թթ․ ԱԳՆ արարողակարգի վարչության պատվիրակությունների ընդունման բաժնի 3-րդ քարտուղար,

1996-1998թթ. ՌԴ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանության 3-րդ, այնուհետև՝ 2-րդ քարտուղար,

2002-2003թթ. ԱԳՆ ԱՊՀ վարչության Ռուսաստանի բաժնի 2-րդ քարտուղար,

2003-2004թթ. ԱԳՆ հյուպատոսական վարչության արտոնագրային բաժնի 2-րդ քարտուղար,

2004-2007թթ. Հալեպում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության 2-րդ քարտուղար, այնուհետև՝ 1-ին քարտուղար,

2007-2008թթ. ԱԳՆ ԱՊՀ վարչության Ռուսաստանի բաժնի 1-ին քարտուղար,

2008-2009թթ. ԱԳՆ «Պետական արարողակարգի ծառայություն» գործակալության դիվանագիտական անձնակազմի բաժնի խորհրդական,

2009-2011թթ. Վրաստանում ՀՀ դեսպանության խորհրդական,

2012-2016թթ. գործուղում Հալեպում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսություն՝ հյուպատոսության աշխատանքներին աջակցելու նպատակով,

2011-2020թթ. ԱԳՆ Մերձավոր և Միջին Արևելքի վարչության Մերձավոր Արևելքի, Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկայի արաբական երկրների և Իսրայելի բաժնի խորհրդական,

2019-2020թթ. գործուղում Հալեպում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսություն՝ հյուպատոսության աշխատանքներին աջակցելու նպատակով,

2020-2021թթ․ Հալեպում ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոսության խորհրդական։

Արժանացել է ՀՀ ԱԳՆ բազմաթիվ խրախուսանքների, ունի պատմական գիտությունների թեկնածուի գիտական աստիճան»։
