ԵՄ-ն ձգտում է համաձայնության հասնել Թուրքիայի հետ դեպի Կիպրոս միգրանտների հոսքը դադարեցնելու համար

Եվրոպական միությունը հաջորդ ամիս Անկարայում բարձր մակարդակի բանակցությունների ընթացքում կարող է միջոցներ գտնել Թուրքիայից դեպի Կիպրոս եւ ԵՄ այլ երկրներ միգրանտների հոսքը դադարեցնելու համար, հայտնել է ներքին գործերի եվրահանձնակատար Իլվա Յոհանսոնը, հաղորդել է AP-ն:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Թուրքիայից Կիպրոս միգրանտների հոսքը կանխելու հարցում «հնարավոր է ճանապարհ գտնել», քանի որ Կիպրոս ժամանող միգրանտների թիվը փոքր է` համեմատած այն մեծ թվով փախստականների հետ, որոնց Թուրքիան ընդունում է: Սակայն նա չի մանրամասնել, թե գործարքը ինչ տեսք կունենա:

Յոհանսոնն ասել է, որ ցանկանում է առաջին ձեռքից ծանոթանալ էթնիկապես բաժանված Կիպրոսի առջեւ ծառացած դժվարություններին: Նա նաեւ այցելել է միգրանտների ընդունման կենտրոն Կիպրոսի մայրաքաղաք Նիկոսիայի ծայրամասում: «Մենք բախվել ենք բազմաթիվ խնդիրների Թուրքիայի հետ մեր հարաբերություններում: Այժմ գտնվում ենք մի իրավիճակում, երբ այդ հարաբերությունները բարելավվում են», - ասել է Յոհանսոնը Կիպրոսի ներքին գործերի նախարար Նիկոս Նուրիսի հետ բանակցություններից հետո:

Նուրիսը Թուրքիային մեղադրել է՝ նշելով, որ նա կղզու օկուպացված հատված ժամանած միգրանտներին «համակարգված» կերպով խրախուսում է հատել ՄԱԿ-ի բուֆերային գոտին՝ դեպի միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված հարավ, որտեղ նրանք ապաստան են խնդրում ԵՄ երկրում: Կիպրոսի պաշտոնյաները նշում են, որ հարավ ժամանող միգրանտների մոտ 80 տոկոսը գալիս է հյուսիսից:
