INTERNATIONAL NEWS«Իմ հայտարարություններում դուք երբեք չեք գտնի տարածքային պահանջների նշաններ: Այն, ինչ ես նկատի ունեի, պատմական ճշմարտություն է: Պատմական փաստն այն է, որ 1920-ին խորհրդային կառավարությունը որոշեց պոկել Ադրբեջանի անբաժանելի մասը` Զանգեզուրը և միացնել այն Հայաստանին: Եվ այս որոշումը կատարվեց: Դա տեղի ունեցավ 1920 թվականին` 101 տարի առաջ: Երբ ես խոսում էի մեր պատմական հողերի մասին, ես չէի խոսում տարածքային պահանջների մասին: Իմ ելույթներից որևէ մեկում դրան չեք հանդիպի»,- այս մասին ասել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը «France 24» հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում՝ պատասխանելով տարածքային պահանջների մասին հարցին, մասնավորապես ՝ Հայաստանի մայրաքաղաք Երևանի վերաբերյալ:
«Մենք պետք է իմանանք մեր պատմությունը: Մատաղ սերունդը պետք է իմանա մեր հին պատմությունը, թե որ տարածքներում ենք ապրել և ինչպես պետք է վերադառնանք այնտեղ: Համոզված եմ, որ կվերադառնանք այնտեղ: Ես արդեն ասել եմ, որ մենք այնտեղ չենք գնա տանկերով, այլ ոտքով, մեքենաներով և ինքնաթիռներով:
Ինչո՞ւ չպետք է վերադառնանք այնտեղ, եթե խաղաղության պայմանագիր ձեռք բերվի իրավիճակի կարգավորումից հետո: Սա մեր օրինական իրավունքն է: Բայց պատասխանելով ձեր հարցին՝ ես պետք է հանդիսատեսի ուշադրությունը հրավիրեմ այն փաստի վրա, որ Հայաստանը տարածքային պահանջներ ունի Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ:
Նրանք դեռ պնդում են, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը մեզ չի պատկանում: Նրանք դեռ հավատում են, որ այն պատկանում է Հայաստանին, կամ «անկախ» կառույց է: Ադրբեջանի քաղաքական ու աշխարհագրական քարտեզի վրա չկա Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ անունով միավոր: Չկա նման կառույց: Այսպիսով, Հայաստանն առաջին հերթին պետք է հրաժարվի Ադրբեջանին տարածքային պահանջներից և իրեն լավ պահի: Եվ մենք համարժեք վերաբերմունք կցուցաբերենք», - ասել է Ալիևը:
