 Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպումից հետո Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է սահմանում պահպանել լարվածությունը:
 
Քաղաքագետ Գագիկ Համբարյանը Past.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ սադրանքներն արդեն երկու տարի է, ինչ ավելի են սաստկացել: Ըստ Համբարյանի՝ Ադրբեջանը փորձում է ճնշում գործադրել հայկական կողմի վրա, որպեսզի վերջիններս զիջումների գնան: Մեր զրուցակցի խոսքով՝Ադրբեջանն այս կերպ նաև Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների գործունեությունից դժգոհությունն է ցուցադրում:
 
«Մերթ ընդ մերթ նրանք բարձրացնում են Մինսկի խմբի  համանախագահների փոփոխության ձևաչափի հարցը, որով ևս պայմանավորված են սահմանային սրումները: Այս փուլում իրավիճակի սրումը պայմանավորված է Անկարայից իջեցված պատվերով, որի միջոցով Թուրքիան ցանկանում է Ռուսաստանի ուշադրությունը շեղել թուրք-ռուսական հարաբերություններից և Սիրիայից ու երկրորդ ճակատ բացել ռուսական կողմի համար՝ սրելով իրավիճակն Ադրբեջանի և Արցախի սահմանագոտում»,- կարծիք հայտնեց պարոն Համբարյանը:
 
Անդրադառնալով տնտեսական գործոններին՝ Գ. Համբարյանը փաստեց հետևյալը. «Վերջին մեկ տարվա մեջ կտրուկ անկում են ապրում նավթի գները՝ մեկ բարելի դիմաց կազմելով 37-38 ԱՄՆ դոլար: Սոցիալ-տնտեսական իրավիճակն Ադրբեջանում կտրուկ վատթարանում է: Այսօր ադրբեջանական մանաթն արժեզրկվել է դոլարի համեմատ 48 տոկոսով:
Ըստ տարեկան տվյալների՝ մանաթը զբաղեցնում է առաջին տեղն աշխարհում իր արժեզրկման ցուցանիշով՝ 98 տոկոս, բայց դեռ տարի չի էլ ավարտվել: Սահմանային իրավիճակը սրելով՝ Ալիևը փորձում է շեղել հասարակության ուշադրությունն այդ խնդիրներից»:
 
Քաղաքագետի դիտարկմամբ՝ ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները ճոխացված են ներկայացնում դրությունը:
 
«Քանի որ այնտեղ կա գրաքննություն՝ բանակի հարցերի հետ կապված, ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցներն ավելի շատ ներկայացնում են «լավ» լուրերը՝ մեծ մասամբ լռելով իրենց կորուստների մասին: Բեռնում տեղի ունեցած վերջին հանդիպումը պետք չէր ո՛չ հայկական, ո՛չ ադրբեջանական կողմին: Այս հանդիպումով ոչինչ չի լուծվում, այն ավելի շատ պետք էր Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներին, որոնք տասնչորս ամսվա մեջ գոնե մեկ հանդիպում կարողացան կազմակերպել:
 
Թե՛ հայկական, թե՛ ադրբեջանական կողմերը հայտարարել են, որ դրական են գնահատում այդ հանդիպումը: Իմ կարծիքով՝ որևէ արդյունք չկա, որովհետև հրադադարը խախտող ադրբեջանական կողմը հասկացավ, որ իրեն ոչ ոք չի մեղադրում: Սա իրեն ավելի է ոգևորում, որպեսզի շարունակի լինել ավելի սանձարձակ»,- ասաց Գագիկ Համբարյանը:
