Նա նշել է, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն արդեն խոսում է Հայաստանի հետ դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման մասին, Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունը նույնպես նման ցանկություն է հայտնում, սակայն հարցի գինը, այսպես կոչված, «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքն» է: «Ի՞նչ է դա: Այդ միջանցքը Թուրքիայի համար կապահովի ոչ միայն ուղիղ մուտք Ադրբեջանի տարածք, այլ նաև Կասպից ծովով Կենտրոնական Ասիա:

Ի՞նչ կտա դա Հայաստանին: Դա, ըստ էության, «Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն» նա խագ ծ ի ավարտն է, քանի որ Հայաստանի հարավային մասը` Իրանի հետ սահմանակից հատվածը, կկտրվի, և Թուրքիան կգերիշխի ամբողջ երկրում: Ի դեպ, առանց լուրջ պատճառի, այդ ուղերձը Հայաստանի ղեկավարությանը ուղարկվում է Վրաստանի վարչապետի միջոցով: Այդ երկրի հետ ևս ամեն ինչ պարզ է: Բացի Աջարիայից, արդեն ամբողջ Վրաստանի հարցն է բարձրացվում: Էրդողանի հայտնի խոսքերն այն մասին, որ Բաթումը չի տարբերվում Ռիզեից (Էրդողանի ծնողների ծննդավայրը Թուրքիայում) արդեն իրականություն է դառնում», - նկատել է փորձագետը:
