Մեքսիկայի կենտրոնական մասի Կերետարոյի նահանգում ավելի քան 3,5 հազար բանկելի տուն ջրի տակ է հայտնվել գետերի հորդացման պատճառով, որը հարուցել են սաստիկ անձրեւները: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հոկտեմբերի 4-ի երեկոյան այդ մասին հայտնել է Milenio թերթը՝ վկայակոչելով տեղի իշխանություններին:

Ինչպես հրատարակությանը հայտարարել է տարածաշրջանի նահանգապետ Մաուրիսիո Կուրին, արդեն հոկտեմբերի 5-ին տարածշրջանում կսկսվի վնասի հետեւանքների գնահատումը: «Վաղը 120 մարդ ձեռնամուխ կլինի ցուցակներ կազմելուն, նրանք կտեսնեն, թե որքան մարդ է այնտեղ մշտապես ապրում, որքանն է բնակարան վարձակալում, մենք կտեսնենք, թե ինչ հնարավորություններ կունենանք, որպեսզի որոշում կայացնենք յուրաքանչյուրի համար»,- ասել է քաղաքական գործիչը: Ավելի վաղ զինծառայողները և փրկարարները հեղեղված շրջաններից տարհանել են ավելի քան 3 հազար մարդու:

Սեպտեմբերի սկզբին հեղեղումները, որոնց պատճառ Էին դարձել տեղատարփ անձրևները, տասնյակ հազարավոր տեր են վնասել Կերետարոյին սահմանակից Իդալգոյի նահանգւմ: Ամենազգալի վնասը հասցվել է Տուլա դե Ալիենդե քաղաքին, որտեղ ջրով հեղեղված հիվանդանոցում զոհվել են հիվանդներ: Տարերքի մոլեգնության հետևանքները վնաս են պատճառել ընդհանուր առմամբ 70 հազար մարդու: Վնասի վերացմանը գործի են դրվել հարյուրավոր փրկարարներ, զինծառայողներ և Ազգային գվարդիայի մարտիկներ, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
