«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

Հեշտությամբ տարատեսակ հացաբուլկեղեն կարելի է տապակել` օգտագործելով փոքրիկ խոհանոցային էլեկտրական սարքը, որը կոչվում է տոստեր: Տոստերը (անգլերեն` toaster) հացը բովող սարք է: Ստանդարտ երկու կտորանոց տոստերի հզորությունը, որը կարելի է գտնել մեր ժամանակներում, կազմում է 600 և 1200 վատտ:

Նրանց մեջ հացիկները կարելի է տապակել 1-3 րոպեում: Կան նաև ոչ էլեկտրական տոստերներ, որոնց միջոցով հացը կարելի է բովել բաց կրակի վրա: Տոստեր ստեղծելու պատմությունը սկսվել է մեկ դարից մի փոքր առաջ: Տոստերի ստեղծման վարկածներից մեկի համաձայն, Ալան Մաք մաստերը և Crompton & Co ընկերությունն են առաջին էլեկտրական տոստերներ ստեղծողները: Դա եղել է 1893 թվականին Շոտլանդիայի Էդինբուրգ քաղաքում:

Այդ ժամանակ սարքը մոնտաժվում էր խոհանոցում, և անհրաժեշտ էր շարունակաբար դիտարկել դրա աշխատանքը: Նման տոստերի վրա հնարավոր էր միայն մի կտոր հաց բովել, այն էլ` միայն մի կողմից, և, որպեսզի այն չսկսեր այրվել, անհրաժեշտ էր ճիշտ ժամանակին, առանց մի պահ անգամ հապաղելու հասցնել շրջել հացի կտորը: Եթե հավատանք տոստերի առաջացման երկրորդ վարկածին, ապա D-12 կոչվող առաջին էլեկտրական տոստերը մշակվել է 1909 թվականին ամերիկյան General Electric ընկերության կողմից: Այն ժամանակ տնային տնտեսուհիները աներևակայելիորեն գոհ են եղել, քանի որ սարքը, շնորհիվ իր խրոմացված տաքացնող էլեմենտի, հնարավոր էր դարձնում հաց բովել առանց կրակի և ծխի:

Հեյզել Բերգեր Քոուփմանը և նրա ամուսինը՝ Լլոյդ Գրոֆ Քոուփմանը, 1913 թվականին կարողացել են ստեղծել տոստերի մի քանի տարբեր մոդելներ: Քոուփմանի տոստերում հացը շուռ տալու անհրաժեշտություն չի եղել, սարքը ինքն է դա արել: Կիսաավտոմատ տոստերի ստեղծումը եղել է գյուտարարների հաջորդ քայլը: Այդ տոստերը հացը բովելուց հետո ավտոմատ կերպով անջատվել է՝ շնորհիվ վայրկենաչափի կամ ջերմակարգավորիչի: Բայց, միևնույն ժամանակ, պետք է եղել հացը հանել տոստերից լծակային մեխանիզմի միջոցով: 1919 թվականին Չարլզ Սթրայթն առաջին անգամ արտոնագրել է ավտոմատ կեպով «հացը հանող» տոստերը: Նման սարքի առաջին մոդելն արտադրվել է 1925 թվականին Waters Genter ընկերության կողմից:

Դա եղել է ավտոմատ կերպով «հացը թռցնող» առաջին կենցաղային տոստերը, որտեղ հացը նաև բովվել է միաժամանակ երկու կողմից: Ամեն ինչ շատ պարզ է աշխատել, տաքացվող էլեմենտի վրա դրվել է վայրկենաչափ, որով էլ աշխատել է հացը հանող հարմարանքը: Տոստերների ողջ պատմության ընթացքում կատարվել են բազմաթիվ բարելավումներ, և այսօր արդեն տոստերն ինքն է կատարում ամեն ինչ, պարզապես պետք է նրա մեջ հացի կտորներ դնել, իսկ մնացածը սարքը կատարում է ինքնուրույն:
