SOCIETYՕգտագործելով TESS աստղադիտակի հավաքած տվյալները՝ աստղագետները հայտնաբերել են նախկինում անհայտ էկզոմոլորակ, որը ստացել է TIC 257060897b անվանումը: Այն գտնվում է Արեգակից 1600 լուսային տարի հեռավորությամբ եւ պտտվում է աստղի շուրջը, որի զանգվածը 1,3 անգամ, իսկ շառավիղը՝ 1,8 անգամ գերազանցում է արեւայինին, գրում է universemagazine.com-ը՝ հղում անելով phys.org-ին:
Նոր բացահայտված օբյեկտն իրենից ներկայացնում է տաք Յուպիտեր: Դրա շառավիղը 1,5 անգամ գերազանցում է Արեգակնային համակարգի խոշորագույն մոլորակի շառավղին: Ընդ որում, TIC 257060897b-ի ուղեծիրն անցնում է կենտրոնական աստղից 0,05 աստղային միավոր հեռավորությամբ, այսինքն, դրա մթնոլորտը տաքացվում է մինչեւ 1480°C աստիճան:
