Չինաստանում մահացու հիվանդ տղայի հայրն ինքն է ստեղծել դեղամիջոցը

Չինաստանում Մենկեսի մահացու հիվանդությամբ տառապող տղայի հայրը կարողացել է ինքնուրույն դեղամիջոց ստեղծել իր որդու համար: Այդ մասին գրում է South China Morning Post թերթը: 

Մենկեսի հիվանդությունն առաջացնում է աճի դանդաղեցում, նյարդային համակարգի պաթոլոգիաներ և մազերի բնորոշ գանգրացում, որի պատճառով Մենկեսի հիվանդությունը կոչվում է նաև «գանգուր մազերի հիվանդություն»: 

Այս տեսակի պաթոլոգիաները հայտնվում են մարմնում պղնձի բջջային փոխադրման խախտման պատճառով. այս հիվանդությունն ունեցող երեխաներն ապրում են ընդամենը մի քանի տարի:

«Ես ինձ լքված էի զգում, բայց չէի կարող հանձնվել: Ինչպե՞ս կարող ես հրաժարվել սեփական երեխայից», - ասել է Սյու Վեյը՝ պատմելով զգացմունքների մասին, երբ իմացել է որդու դանդաղ զարգացման պատճառը:

30-ամյա տղամարդը, չկարողանալով գտնել այս հիվանդության բուժումը, որոշել է անձամբ սինթեզել փորձարարական դեղամիջոց`հիստիդին պղնձի ամինաթթու: Այդ ժամանակ նա միայն միջնակարգ կրթություն ուներ, ուստի Սյուն ընդունվել է համալսարանի հանրային դասընթացների՝ սովորելու, թե ինչպես արտադրել դեղամիջոցներ և ապահովել որակի վերահսկողություն: Իր ստեղծած դեղամիջոցի արդյունաբերական արտադրության բարդության և բարձր արժեքի պատճառով որոշվել է այն ստեղծել տանը:

Սկզբում նա դեղամիջոցը փորձարկել է առնետների, հետո՝ իր վրա, և միայն դրանից հետո այն տվել է որդուն: Զննումը ցույց է տվել, որ դեղամիջոցն օգնել է նրան մասնակի ապաքինվել: Տղան ողջ է, բայց դեռ չի կարողանում շրջվել և խոսել:
