Հոկտեմբերի 18-ին  ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Անն Լույոնին: Այս մասին հայտնում է ԱԺ աշխատակազմը:

Շնորհավորելով նորանշանակ դեսպանին՝  Ալեն Սիմոնյանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ նրա գործունեությունը նպաստելու է Հայաստանի եւ Ֆրանսիայի միջեւ համագործակցության խորացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը:

ԱԺ նախագահն  ընդգծել է Ֆրանսիայի հետ բազմոլորտ փոխգործակցությունը՝ հավելելով, որ անձամբ  պատրաստ է ներդնել բոլոր ջանքերն այդ հարաբերությունների խորացման եւ դինամիկ զարգացման  գործում: Այս համատեքստում նշվել է նաեւ Ֆրանսիայի հայ համայնքի դերակատարությունը, որը յուրահատուկ կամուրջ է հայ-ֆրանսիական բազմաբեւեռ գործակցության հարցում:

Ալեն Սիմոնյանը երախտագիտությամբ հիշատակել է  Ֆրանսիայի խորհրդարանի զույգ պալատների կողմից Արցախի դեմ ադրբեջանաթուրքական ագրեսիան դատապարտող,  Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության ճանաչման անհրաժեշտության վերաբերյալ բազմաթիվ բանաձեւերն ու կոչերը  եւ արդեն իսկ թվով չորրորդ պատվիրակության՝ Հայաստան եւ Արցախ այցելությունը:

ԱԺ նախագահը կարեւորել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության շրջանակներում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրի վերջնական ու արդարացի լուծումը եւ Արցախի՝ ինքնորոշման իրավունքի վրա հիմնված կարգավիճակի ճանաչումը:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել երկու երկրների խորհրդարանների գործունեությանը, որոնք կարեւոր դեր են խաղում Հայաստանի ու Ֆրանսիայի միջեւ քաղաքական երկխոսությունը զարգացնելու եւ հարստացնելու գործում:

Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության համար՝ շեշտելով, որ Ազգային ժողովը համարվում է ժողովրդավարության կենտրոն: Նա պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել հետագա գործունեությամբ նպաստելու ԱԺ-ի հետ ձեւավորված ամուր  համագործակցության խորացմանը:
