Խոշտանգումների կանխարգելման ոլորտում Եվրոպայում առաջատարներից համարվող Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի փորձը ուսումնասիրելու նպատակով Հայաստան է ժամանել Ուկրաինայի Գերագույն ռադայի մարդու իրավունքների հանձնակատար Լյուդմիլա Դենիսովայի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը, տեղեկացնում է ՄԻՊ գրասենյակը:

Մարդու իրավունքների ազգային հաստատություններին տրվող անկախության ամենաբարձր «Ա» կարգավիճակն ունեցող երկու կառույցների ներկայացուցիչները համատեղ քննարկում են ունեցել փակ հաստատություններում աշխատանքի առանձնահատկությունների վերաբերյալ։

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի ներկայացուցիչները ներկայացրել են սահմանադրական օրենքով Պաշտպանին վերապահված երաշխիքները, փակ հաստատություններում աշխատանքի սկզբունքներն ու մոտեցումները, ինչպես նաև փախստականների ու ապաստան հայցողների ոլորտում իրականացվող աշխատանքը։

Երկու երկրների օմդուդմաններն անդրադարձել են իրենց երկրներում առկա մարդու իրավունքների վիճակին, մտահոգող զարգացումներին։ Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը բարձրացրել է ադրբեջանական կողմում պահվող գերիների վերադարձի հարցը՝ նշելով, որ նրանք պահվում են քաղաքական սակարկությունների նպատակով․ այդ մասին կան նաև փաստագրված ապացույցներ։

Հանդիպման ավարտին երկու երկրների մարդու իրավունքների ազգային հաստատությունների ղեկավարները ստորագրել են համագործակցության վերաբերյալ հուշագիր։

Այցի ընթացքում տեղի կունենան այցեր ՔԿՀ-ներ, ՁՊՎ-ներ և այլ վայրեր:
