INTERNATIONAL NEWSԵթե շտապ միջոցներ չձեռնարկվեն, միլիոնավոր աֆղաններ սովամահ կլինեն այս ձմռանը, զգուշացնում է ՄԱԿ-ի Պարենի համաշխարհային ծրագրի ղեկավարը, գրում է BBC֊ն: Համաձայն ՊՀԾ-ի տվյալների՝ Աֆղանստանի բնակչության կեսից ավելին՝ մոտ 22,8 միլիոն մարդ, բախվում է սննդի խիստ պակասի, իսկ մինչև հինգ տարեկան 3,2 միլիոն երեխա տառապում է թերսնումից:
«Աֆղանստանում այժմ աշխարհի ամենավատ հումանիտար ճգնաժամերից մեկն է, եթե ոչ ամենավատը, - ասում է ՊՀԾ-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Դեյվիդ Բիսլին։֊Դեպի աղետ ենք գնում»:
