Մեկ ամսվա զինծառայող Գևորգն ընկավ պատերազմում՝ կյանքը զոհաբերելով հայրենիքին. ի հիշատակ հերոսի մահվան տարելիցի` Երևանում հուշաքար և հուշաղբյուր բացվեց

Երեկ՝ հոկտեմբերի 25-ին, Երևանի Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանի Բաբաջանյան 98/8  հասցեում բացվեց հուշարձան և հուշաղբյուր՝ ի հիշատակ  Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմում անձնվիրաբար կյանքը զոհաբերած 21-ամյա Գևորգ Կարապետյանի։ Հուշաքարի բացման օրը պատահական չէր ընտրված ... շուրջ մեկ տարի առաջ՝ հոկտեմբերի 24-ին, Գևորգն անմահացավ և բռնեց հավերժի ճամփան։

Հուշաքարի բացման մեկնարկը տրվեց օծման արարողությամբ ու տերունական աղոթքով։ Երգով ու ասմունքով հանդես եկան համայնքի երեխաները։ Ներկաները չէին կարողանում զսպել իրենց արցունքները, որոնք ոչ միայն տխրության էին, այլև հպարտության: Նրանք իրենց շնորհակալությունը հայտնեցին հերոսին՝ ծաղիկներ խոնարհելով հուշաքարին:

Զինկոմիսարիատի ներկայացուցիչը պատվոգիր հանձնեց հերոսածին հորը՝ Գեղամ Կարապետյանին, և հայտարարեց. «Տրվում է Գևորգին՝ հայրենիքի համար անձնվիրությամբ ու հերոսաբար մարտնչելու համար»:

Հուզիչ ելույթով հանդես եկավ ներկաներից մեկը՝ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով պատերազմում քաջաբար զոհվածներին ու նրանց ծնողներին. «Ցավը բոլորիս միավորեց: Մայրը ծնեց ու սնեց իր որդուն, հայրն էլ մայր հողին հանձնեց իր որդուն: Հերոսների արյան գնով մենք կանք ու ապրում ենք: Խոնարհումս հերոսածին մայրերին, հանձինս Ձեզ՝ տիկին Հասմիկ ջան»,- ասաց նա:

Այնուհետև ներկաները հերթով ջուր խմեցին ցայտաղբյուրից՝ նշելով, որ այս վայրը դառնալու է սրբատեղի և ամեն անգամ այդտեղից ջուր խմելիս հիշելու են Գևորգին ու նահատակված մեր բոլոր արծիվ տղաներին: Ապա շարժվեցին Եռաբլուր՝ հերոսների շիրիմներին խնկարկելու ու ծաղիկներ խոնարհելու։

Գևորգ Գեղամի Կարապետյանը ծնվել է 1999թ. հուլիսի 10-ին։ Սովորել է Վ. Համբարձումյանի անվան թիվ 12  դպրոցում, այնուհետև Հայաստանի մանկավարժական համալսարանում, ապա՝ Ավիաուսումնական կենտրոնում, ապագա կարգավորող էր (դիսպետչեր)։  2020 թվականի օգոստոսի 13-ին զորակոչվել է ծառայության՝ հայրենիքի առջև պարտքը կատարելու։ Ծառայել է Խոջալուում։ Մեկ ամսվա զինծառայող էր, երբ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին սկսել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված պատերազմը, որը պիտի հազարավոր կյանքեր խլեր: Գևորգն ու ծառայակից ընկերները տեղափոխվել են տեղից տեղ, այնուհետև թշնամու դեմ մարտնչել Վարանդայում (Ֆիզուլի)։ Վերջին զանգը Գևորգից ծնողները ստացել են հոկտեմբերի 23-ին, իսկ ահա հոկտեմբերի 24-ին տեղի է ունեցել չարաբաստիկ դեպքը․․․ թշնամու հարվածին զոհ է գնացել նաև Գևորգը։ 

Արցախի նախագահի հրամանագրով Գևորգը հետմահու պարգևատրվել է Արիության մեդալով, պարգևատրվել է նաև Մանկավարժական համալսարանի կողմից:
