Երևանում Իրինա Ռոդնինայի գեղասահքի և տափօղակով հոկեյի մանկապատանեկան մարզադպրոցի բացումն էապես կնպաստի Հայաստանում ձմեռային մարզաձևերի զարգացմանը: Տարվա ամփոփիչ ասուլիսում այդ մասին նշեց ՀՀ սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարար Գաբրիել Ղազարյանը: Մասնավորապես, հոկեյի զարգացմանը վերաբերող հարցի առնչությամբ նախարարը նշեց. «Ներկայում ունենք հայ հոկեյիստներ, ովքեր մարզվում են Ռուսաստանում և Բելառուսում, մասնակցում միջազգային մրցումների: Իհարկե այդ մարզադպրոցի բացումը կնպաստի ոչ միայն հոկեյի զարգացմանը: Այնտեղ կարող են բացվել կյոռլինգի, շորթ-տրեկի և ձմեռային մարզաձևերի խմբեր: Կարծում եմ առաջիկայում ականատեսը կլինենք հայաստանում այդ մարզաձևերի զարգացմանը»:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ նախարարը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց բարերար Սերգեյ Համբարձումյանին՝ գեղասահքի և հոկեյի մարզադպրոցի բացման ծրագիրը կյանքի կոչելու համար:
