INTERNATIONAL NEWSՀունաստանի վարչապետ Կիրիակոս Միցոտակիսը Եվրամիությանը կոչ է արել ավելի կոշտ դիրքորոշում ցուցաբերել Թուրքիայի նկատմամբ, հայտնել է Kathimerini-ն։
«Արեւմտյան չափավորությունը, կարծես, հաճախ խրախուսում է Թուրքիայի կամայական պահվածքը», - ասել է Միցոտակիսը Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելի հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ։ «Եկել է ժամանակը, որպեսզի եվրոպական սկզբունքները վերածվեն եվրոպական պրակտիկային», - ասել է նա:
Միցոտակիսը հավելել է, որ Հունաստանը ցանկանում է լավ հարաբերություններ ունենալ իր հարեւանների հետ՝ միջազգային իրավունքի հիման վրա։ «Հունաստանը, սակայն, չի հանդուրժի իր ինքնիշխան իրավունքներին ուղղված սպառնալիքները», - ասել է նա։
Մերկելը նշել է, որ բոլոր երկրները պետք է հարգեն միջազգային իրավունքը եւ ՄԱԿ-ի բանաձեւերը՝ հավելելով, որ երկխոսության միջոցով որոշումների հասնելը «կարեւոր է, բայց դժվար»: Նա համաձայնել է Միցոտակիսի հետ, որ Թուրքիայի հետ Հունաստանի խնդիրները դրանք նաեւ Եվրոպայի խնդիրներն են, օրինակ՝ միգրացիայի խնդիրը։ Այնուամենայնիվ, Մերկելը հավելել է, որ միշտ չէ, որ հնարավոր է բոլոր հարցերի շուրջ լիարժեք կոնսենսուսի հասնել:
