Երեկ պարզ դարձավ, որ Մեղրիում «Հանրապետություն» (Արամ Զ. Սարգսյան) և «Ազատական» (Սամվել Բաբայան) կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչները կոալիցիոն համաձայնագիր կնքեցին, որի համաձայն Մեղրիում ապագա 5 տարիների ընթացքում կիսելու են իշխանությունը, այդպիսով դուրս թողնելով իշխող «Քաղպայմանագիր» կուսակցությանը ՏԻՄ գործընթացներից:

Այս հանգամանքը բավականին ծանր են տարել ՔՊ-ում, անգամ այն պարագայում, որ այդ երկու քաղաքական ուժերն էլ համարվում են մերձիշխանական: Այս փաստը հետաքրքիր է նաև նրանով, որ դեկտեմբերի 5-ին Վայքում կայանալիք ՏԻՄ ընտրություններում էլ է գրեթե նույն պատկերը սպասվում, որովհետև, ըստ վայքեցիների այդ ընտրություններում ամենաուժեղ թեկնածուն «Հանրապետության» ներկայացուցիչ Կարլեն Մինասյանն է, իսկ նրա հիմնական հակառակորդը Սիմոն Բաբայանն է՝ «Ազատական» կուսակցությունից: Ու, թեև արդեն ապացուցվեց, որ ՏԻՄ ընտրություններում այս կուսակցությամբ ներկայանալը առավել քան պայմանական և ֆորմալ բնույթ է կրում (այստեղ որոշիչը ցուցակը գլխավորող անձի գործոնն է), այնուամենայնիվ իշխանությունները յուրաքանչյուր պարտություն շատ ցավագին են ընդունում:

Եվ ահա Մեղրիի պատմությունից հետո, իշխանությունները գործի են անցել Վայքում և ուզում են ամեն գնով ճնշել անցողիկ թեկնածուներին (թեև ՔՊ թեկնածուն որևէ շանս չունի): Ու, եթե Սամվել Բաբայանի ներկայացուցչին շատ ավելի հեշտ է ճնշել (օդում կախված լուրերի համաձայն նրա վրա կան քրեական գործերի բազմաթիվ նյութեր), ապա Կառլեն Մինասյանի վրա առայժմ ոչինչ չեն գտնում:

Ի դեպ, օդում կախված լուրերի համաձայն Սամվել Բաբայանը խոստացել էր բարեխոսել իշխանություններին իր թեկնածուի համար, սակայն Մեղրիից հետո, Սիմոն Բաբայանի վիճակը կարող է էլ ավելի բարդանալ:
