Ամերիկայի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի արևմտյան տարածաշրջանը (The Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region (ANCA-WR) ANCA Western Region ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանին շնորհել է “Human Rights Champion” պատվավոր մրցանակը՝ «Հայաստանի և Արցախի ժողովրդի շահերի և իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցում հետևողական ջանքերի համար»:

Բոլոր ջանքերի թիկունքում եղել է ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի մասնագետների սրտացավ ու հայրենանվեր աշխատանքը:

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանն Արման Թաթոյանն իր երախտագիտությունն է հայտնում Ամերիկայի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի Արևմտյան տարածաշրջանին (ANCA-WR) և անձամբ հանձնախմբի ղեկավար տիկին Նորա Հովսեփյանին (Nora Hovsepian)՝ պատվաբեր մրցանակի համար: Տիկին Հովսեփյանը, նրա գլխավորությամբ ANCA-WR-ը մշտական աջակցություն է ցուցաբերել ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի զանգվածային խախտումները փաստագրելու և վերլուծելու, ամերիկյան ազդեցիկ հարթակներում գերիների վերադարձի ու մյուս կենսական հարցերում: Այն Միացյալ Նահանգների արևմտյան տարածաշրջանում ամերիկահայերի շահերի ու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ամենամեծ և ամենաազդեցիկ կազմակերպությունն է:

ANCA-WR-ի նպատակն է առաջ քաշել ամերիկահայ համայնքի մտահոգությունները Հայ Դատի հարցերի լայն շրջանակի վերաբերյալ:

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանն իր խորին շնորհակալություն է հայտնում ԱՄՆ հայ անվանի փաստաբաններ, Հայերի իրավունքների պաշտպանության հանձնախմբի համաատենապետներ Կարօ Ղազարեանին (Garo Ghazarian) և Գառնիկ Քերքոնեանին (Karnig Kerkonian): Նրանք հատկապես ադրբեջանական զինված հարձակումների առաջին ժամերից սկսած մշտական աջակցություն են ցուցաբերել ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին զեկույցներ կազմելու, ադրբեջանական պատերազմական հանցագործությունները փաստագրելու հարցերում: Հայ անվանի փաստաբանները մշտապես աջակցել են Հայաստանի ու Արցախի դեմ ադրբեջանական հանցանքների լայն իրազեկման, միջազգային ատյաններում քննության գործընթացներին, գործուն միջոցներ են ձեռնարկվել պատերազմական ամենազգայուն, այդ թվում՝ գերիների վերադարձի, սահմանային բնակիչների իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցերով:

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանին Ամերիկայի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի արևմտյան տարածաշրջանի մրցանակը շնորհելու կապակցությամբ պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության մեջ նշված է.

«Որպես Հայաստանի օմբուդսման՝ Արման Թաթոյանն օգտագործել է իր իրավասության ներքո եղած բոլոր ռեսուրսները՝ պաշտպանելու մարդու իրավունքները և մեր ժողովրդի արժանապատվությունը՝ ընդգծելով Ադրբեջանի կառավարության ագրեսիվ գործողությունները միջազգային հանրության առջև՝ նպատակ ունենալով ոճրագործ ռեժիմին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու մասին: Նա մեծապես արժանի է ANCA-WR-ի հեղինակավոր “Human Rights Champion” մրցանակին, և մենք անհամբեր սպասում ենք նրան Կալիֆորնիայում, որտեղ մեր համայնքը կարող է իր հավաքական երախտագիտությունը հայտնել այն ամենի համար, ինչ նա արել և շարունակում է անել մեր հայրենիքի համար»,- նշել է հանձնախմբի ղեկավար Նորա Հովսեփյանը:

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը շարունակելու է առավելագույն հնարավորություններով ներկայացնել Հայաստանի սահմանային բնակիչների իրավունքների պաշտպանության ուղղությամբ իրականացված փաստահավաք աշխատանքները, անվտանգության գոտու հրատապ անհրաժեշտությունը, ինչպես նաև Ադրբեջանում հայկական կողմի գերիների նկատմամբ խոշտանգումներն ու նրանց վերադարձի հրատապությունը:
