«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է
Հինգ տարի առաջ՝ 2016 թվականի այս օրը լույս տեսավ «Փաստ» օրաթերթի առաջին համարը: Տպագիր մամուլի համար դժվարին ժամանակներում նոր թերթի լույս ընծայումը այն ժամանակ շատերի կողմից գուցե տարակուսանքով ընդունվեց, քանզի քիչ չեն նրանք, ովքեր վստահ են, թե տպագիր մամուլը Հայաստանում մեռնում է: «Համաձայն չեմ, որ թերթը «մեռնող» մշակույթ է, քանզի ընթերցողը կարիք ունի ավելի փաստարկված և ավելի կայուն լրատվամիջոցների»,- այդ օրերին ԶԼՄ-ների հետ զրույցում ասել էր թերթի հիմնադիր Վարուժան Բաբաջանյանը:
Ժամանակի հետ ոչ միայն «Փաստը», այլև մյուս թերթերը ապացուցեցին, որ մեր օրերում ինչքան էլ դժվար է թերթ հրատարակելը, սակայն այն շարունակում է մնալ պահանջված:
Ինչ հաջողվեց կամ ինչ չհաջողվեց «Փաստին» այս հինգ տարվա ընթացքում, կարող է գնահատել բացառապես ընթերցողը: Մեզ հետ կարելի է համաձայնել, կարելի է չհամաձայնել, կարելի է գովել, կարելի է բանավիճել, հակաճառել, հերքել... Դա բնականոն գործընթաց է: Բայց մի բան հաստատ է. այս տարիներին «Փաստը» միշտ մնացել է իր սկզբունքներին հավատարիմ, մասնավորաբար՝ չանցնել մեր իսկ նախանշած կարմիր գծերը, որոնք առնչվում են հատկապես մարդու անձնական կյանքին, ընտանիքին, երկրի անվտանգությանն ու պաշտպանունակությանը և այլն: Այդպես էլ շարունակելու ենք, այլ կերպ պարզապես չենք կարող...
