INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ Սենատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Բոբ Մենենդեսը մտահոգիչ է համարել հաղորդագրությունները նոյեմբերի 16-ին Ադրբեջանի կողմից ՀՀ արևելյան սահմանագոտու ուղղությամբ հարձակման հետևանքով հայ զինծառայողների զոհվելու և գերեվարվելու մասին: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Մենենդեսի հայտարարությունը տարածել է ԱՄՆ Սենատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի «Թվիթեր»-ի էջը:
Մենենդեսն ընդգծել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Ադրբեջանին տրամադրվող ռազմական աջակցությունը օգնում է հնարավոր դարձնել էթնիկ հայերի դեմ ուղղված հրեշավոր գործողությունները: «Ժամանակն է ընդունել իմ առաջարկած փոփոխությունն այդ օգնությունը դադարեցնելու մասին»,- նշել է Մենենդեսը:
