«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

Գժելյան ճենապակին ժողովրդական արհեստի նկարազարդ ստեղծագործություն է: Նման ճենապակու առանձնահատկությունը սպիտակ ֆոնին կոբալտով նկարազարդումն է: Այս ժողովրդական արհեստն իր անունը ստացել է Մոսկվայի շրջանի Գժել գյուղի անունից, որտեղ էլ, ըստ էության, այն առաջացել է:

Գժելի շրջանում, սկսած 17-րդ դարից, լայնորեն տարածված է եղել կավագործությունը: Տեղական կավը բարձր է գնահատվել և համարվել է լավագույններից մեկը: 1663 թվականին ցար Ալեքսեյ Միխայլովիչը հրամանագիր է արձակել Գժել վոլոստում բժշկական անոթներ արտադրելու նպատակով կավի արդյունահանման մասին, իսկ կավագործության պատմությունը Գժելում սկսվել է 18-րդ դարից: Գժելի կավագործները արտադրել են սպասք, աղյուսներ, սալիկներ և անգամ մանկական խաղալիքներ: Այդ ամենը Գժելից մատակարարվել է Մոսկվա: 18-րդ դարի կեսերին Ռուսաստանում կավագործությունը սկսել է արագ զարգանալ, բայց ոչ մեկին չի հաջողվել մրցել Գժելի արհեստավորների հետ: Գժելի կավագործությունը իր պատմական բարձրակետին է հասել 18-րդ դարի վերջին: Այդ ժամանակ առանձնահատուկ հմտությունների են հասել կժեր, կումգաններ, կվասի անոթներ և մեծ ափսեներ պատրաստող արհեստավորները: Խոհանոցային պարագաները վարպետները նկարազարդել են ծաղիկներով, թռչուններով, ծառերով և ճարտարապետական շինություններով:

Ներկման համար օգտագործվել են կապույտ, կանաչ, դեղին գույներ շագանակագույն ուրվագծերում: 1802 թվականին Մինինո գյուղի մոտ գտել են սպիտակավուն կավ, որից հետո այդ շրջանում սկսվել է կիսաֆաբրիկատի արտադրություն: 19-րդ դարի քսանականների երկրորդ կեսից Գժելի գեղանկարչության մեջ սկսել են գերակշռել կապույտի երանգները: 19-րդ դարի սկզբին Բռոնիցկի Ույեզդ քաղաքում հայտնաբերվել է ճենապակի արտադրելու համար պիտանի սպիտակ կավ, որից հետո Վոլոդինո գյուղում կառուցվել է ճենապակու առաջին գործարանը:

Այս գործարանի հիմնադիր Պավել Կուլիկովը ճենապակու արտադրության գաղտնիքներն իմացել է Պերովո գյուղի գործարանում: Ըստ տվյալների, ճենապակու տեխնոլոգիաները գաղտնի պահելու համար Կուլիկովն ինքն է զբաղվել արտադրությամբ: Այդ փոքր ձեռնարկությունից էլ սկսել է Գժելում զարգանալ ճենապակու արտադրությունը: 1812 թվականին արդեն եղել է ճենապակու արտադրության քսանհինգ գործարան: Ժամանակի ընթացքում ճենապակու պահանջարկն աճել է, ինչը նպաստել է արտադրության աճին: Աստիճանաբար ճենապակին ու ֆայանսն են դարձել Գժելի արհեստի հիմքը: Արհեստագործական արհեստանոցները դարձել են փոքրիկ գործարաններ: Արտադրվող ապրանքների տեսականին ընդլայնվել է:

Սկսել են արտադրել բաժակներ, կաթի սափորներ, թեյամաններ, յուղամաններ, թանաքամաններ և մոմակալներ: Բոլոր ապրանքներն սկսել են նկարազարդել կոբալտային կապույտ ներկերով: Չնայած ճենապակու խոշոր գործարանների մրցակցությանը, ներկայումս էլ Գժելի արտադրանքը շարունակում է պահանջարկ վայելել շնորհիվ նկարազարդումներում ժողովրդական կերպարի պահպանման և շրջապատող իրականության տեսարանների պատկերման:
