SOCIETYՄարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը Երեխաների համաշխարհային օրվա առթիվ հղել է ուղերձ, որում ասվում է․
«Պետք է յուրաքանչյուրս մեր աշխատանքում ներդնենք առավելագույն ջանքեր մեր երեխաների համար ավելի լավ երկիր ժառանգություն թողնելու համար, որտեղ յուրաքանչյուր որոշման հիմքում կլինի երեխայի լավագույն շահը: Նոյեմբերի 20-ը Երեխաների համաշխարհային օրն է, հետևաբար ևս մեկ առիթ բարձրաձայնելու այն խնդիրները, որոնց բախվում են երեխաները:
Մենք կհաջողենք միայն այն ժամանակ, երբ կստեղծենք երեխայի կարիքներին համապատասխան արժանապատիվ ներառական միջավայր, կբացահայտենք երեխայի կարողությունները, կսովորեցնենք ինքնուրույն կյանքի հմտություններ, կլսենք ու կհարգենք երեխայի կարծիքը: Այս կենսական ճանապարհին ծնողները, պետությունն ու հասարակությունը պետք է գործեն՝ իրար օգնելով:
Երեխայի խնամք ու պաշտպանություն իրականացնող հաստատություններում, հատուկ դպրոցներում գտնվող երեխաները նույնպես ունեն մեր ամենօրյա ուշադրության կարիքը:
Մենք ավելի մեծ պատասխանատվություն ունենք նրանց նկատմամբ՝ ապահով ու բարեկեցիկ կյանք երաշխավորելու համար:
Ես մշտապես նշել եմ, որ չկա երեխայի համար լավագույն միջավայրը ընտանիքում ապրելն ու դաստիարակվելն է: Հետևաբար, ընտանիքների կարիքների գնահատումն ու պետության աջակցությունը պետք է լինի հասցեական ու հետևողական: Հաստատությունից տուն վերադարձած երեխան պետք է իր մեջքի հետևում զգա նաև պետության աջակցությունը:
COVID-19 համավարակը, պատերազմը, մեր երկրի սահմանային բնակավայրերում կրակոցներն ու լարվածության մթնոլորտը ցավալի ազդեցություն են թողել երեխաների վրա (տեղահանված, կրթությունից դուրս մնացած երեխաներ և այլն) և հետևանքների վերացումը դեռ տևական աշխատանք է պահանջելու: ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշատակազմը հետևողական աշխատանքներ ենք կիրականացնում նաև այդ ուղղությամբ:
