Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոյին խորհուրդ չի տվել բանակցել ընդդիմության հետ։ Այս մասին Բելառուսի ղեկավարն ասել է BBC-ի միջազգային թղթակից Սթիվեն Ռոզենբերգի հետ հարցազրույցի ժամանակ։
«Լսե՛ք, Վլադիմիր Պուտինն ինձ ոչինչ խորհուրդ չի տվել: Ահա ես նրա հետ արդեն մեկ ժամից ավելի խոսել եմ և խորհուրդ չեմ լսել նրանից։ Ես կարող եմ զուգահեռ անցկացնել. հենց որ Պուտինն ու Նավալնին (ռուս ընդդիմադիր գործիչ Ալեքսեյ Նավալնի) նստեն բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ, ես ակնթարթորեն բանակցություններ կսկսեմ Սվետլանայի (Բելառուսի նախագահի նախկին թեկնածու Սվետլանա Տիխանովսկայա) հետ»,- ասել է նա՝ պատասխանելով Վլադիմիր Պուտինի՝ Բելառուսի ընդդիմության հետ երկխոսություն սկսելու առաջարկի վերաբերյալ հարցին:
Միաժամանակ, Լուկաշենկոն, խոսելով այն մասին, թե կցանկանար, որ Պուտինն ու Նավալնին նստեն բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ, ընդգծել է, որ «դրա նրանց խնդիրներն են»։
«Եթե ուզում եք իմանալ իմ տեսակետը, ապա Նավալնին ծախված մարդ է: Իսկ Պուտինը երբեք նրա հետ չի նստի բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ, որովհետև նա ընդդիմադիր չէ, նա Ռուսաստանի շահերի դավաճան է»,-ասել է Լուկաշենկոն:
