ԱՀԿ-ն հայտնել է, որ 38 երկրներում «օմիկրոն» շտամ է հայտնաբերվել
SOCIETYՄինչ այժմ կորոնավիրուսի «օմիկրոն» շտամ է հայտնաբերվել 38 երկրներում։ Այս մասին ուրբաթ Ժնեւում հայտարարել է Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության (ԱՀԿ) փորձագետ Մարիա վան Կերխովը, փոխանցել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
«Մեզ հաղորդել են [«օմիկրոն» տարբերակի մասին] 38 երկրներից», - ասել է նա՝ պարզաբանելով, որ խոսքը պետությունների մասին է, որոնք տեղակայված են ԱՀԿ-ի «բոլոր վեց տարածաշրջաններում»:
Նրա խոսքով՝ Հարավային Աֆրիկայից ստացված տեղեկատվության համաձայն՝ այնտեղ վարակվածների թիվն աճում է։ «Ենթադրություն կա, որ «օմիկրոն» շտամն ավելի վարակիչ է»,- ասել է փորձագետը։ «Սակայն մենք պետք է հասկանանք, թե արդյոք այն ավելի թե պակաս վարակիչ է «դելտա» տարբերակի համեմատ, որը դեռ գերիշխում է աշխարհում»:
Ըստ Կերխովի՝ տեղեկություն է ստացվել, որ «օմիկրոն» տարբերակով վարակվելը տարբեր ծանրության հիվանդություններ կարող է առաջացնել՝ «թեթեւներից մինչեւ ծանրերը»։ Բացի այդ, ՀԱՀ-ից ստացված տվյալների համաձայն, այս երկրում աճում է կորոնավիրուսով հիվանդների հոսպիտալացումների թիվը։ ԱՀԿ-ն ցանկանում է պարզել՝ արդյո՞ք դա պայմանավորված է «բնակչության մեջ տարածվող վարակներով», թե՞ հոսպիտալացում պահանջող ծանր հիվանդությունը «օմիկրոն» տարբերակն է առաջացնում: Պարզելու համար «որոշակի ժամանակ կպահանջվի»։
Փորձագետը պարզաբանել է, որ դեռ պարզ չէ, թե COVID-19-ի դեմ ներկայումս առկա պատվաստանյութերն ինչպես են ազդում այս շտամի վրա։ «Սա մեծ հարց է մեզ համար։ Պատվաստանյութերի ազդեցությունը հասկանալու համար ժամանակ կպահանջվի», - ընդգծել է Կերխովը:
Ինչպես պարզաբանել է ԱՀԿ Արտակարգ իրավիճակների ծրագրի տնօրեն Մայքլ Ռայանը, դեռեւս չկան որեւէ տվյալներ, որ «օմիկրոն»-ի դեմ պայքարի համար կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստանյութերը փոխելու կարիք կլինի։
