֊Ո՞ր փուլում է Հայաստանի հետ կապված իրավիճակը։ Չէ՞ որ մեկ ամսից էլ քիչ առաջ սահմանին մահվան ելքով բախումներ են եղել։
֊Իրավիճակը համեմատաբար կայուն է։ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ռուսական խաղաղապահ ուժերի պատասխանատվության գոտում իրավիճակն ավելի կայուն է, քան Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանին։
֊Ի՞նչ կարող ենք ակնկալել Բրյուսելում Ձեր և ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հանդիպումից:
- Դժվար է ասել։ Պետք է տեսնենք, թե ինչ արդյունք կունենա հանդիպումը։ Ադրբեջանի դիրքորոշումը բաց է ու հստակ։ Մենք խաղաղություն ենք ուզում։ Մենք պատերազմ չենք ուզում։ Մենք հաղթել ենք պատերազմը, մենք ենք հաղթողը։ Եվ այս իրողությունը պետք է հաշվի առնել։ Իսկ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը լուծված է։ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կարգավիճակի կամ նման այլ բաների շուրջ որևէ քննարկում չի կարող լինել։ Մենք ինքներս դա լուծել ենք ուժով և քաղաքական ճանապարհով։
֊Ի՞նչ եք ակնկալում Հայաստանից:
֊Հայաստանը պետք է զերծ մնա ցանկացած տեսակի թշնամական գործողություններից, տարածքային պահանջներ ներկայացնելուց։ 21-րդ դարում պետք է աշխատել խաղաղության համաձայնագրի վրա և պահպանել նորմալ վարքագիծը: Մենք հարևաններ ենք, և մեզանից ոչ մեկը չի պատրաստվում թռչել այլ մոլորակ։ Մենք պետք է սովորենք ապրել կողք կողքի և կամաց-կամաց հող նախապատրաստենք հարաբերությունների կարգավորման, այդ թվում՝ մարդկանց միջև շփման համար։ Մենք բացահայտ ասել ենք, որ պատրաստ ենք դրան,֊ասել է Ալիևը։
