Եթե ​​Արեւմուտքը հրաժարվի Ռուսաստանի անվտանգության առաջարկներից, ապա Մոսկվան կանցնի հակասպառնալիքի ռեժիմի։ Այս մասին հայտնել է ՌԴ փոխարտգործնախարար Ալեքսանդր Գրուշկոն։

Նրա խոսքով՝ այժմ Մոսկվան հասկացնում է, որ պատրաստ է խոսել այն մասին, թե ինչպես «ռազմական սցենարը կամ առճակատման ռազմատեխնիկական սցենարը վերածվի քաղաքական գործընթացի»։

Բայց եթե Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը ստիպված լինի անցնել «հակասպառնալիքներ ստեղծելու այդ ռեժիմի մեջ», ապա շատ ուշ կլինի Մոսկվային հարցնել՝ «ինչո՞ւ ենք մենք նման որոշումներ կայացրինք, ինչո՞ւ ենք նման համակարգեր տեղադրել այնտեղ»:

YouTube-ի «Соловьев Live» ալիքի եթերում Գրուշկոն նշել է, որ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը ելնում է նրանից, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ին չի հաջողվի հրաժարվել Եվրոպայում Մոսկվայի անվտանգության երաշխիքներից։ Նրա խոսքով, Ռուսաստանը հետևողականորեն հասնելու է դաշինքից եվրոպական անվտանգության կառուցման այն տեսլականը, որը տեսնում է Մոսկվան։ Միաժամանակ Ռուսաստանը բավական տեխնիկական հնարավորություններ ունի սեփական ռազմական անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար։

Մինչ այս ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ն հրապարակել էր Ռուսաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի և ՆԱՏՕ-ի միջև անվտանգության երաշխիքների մասին պայմանագրերի նախագծերը։ Մասնավորապես, Մոսկվան կոչ է արել ՆԱՏՕ-ին պարտավորվել բացառել հետագա ընդլայնումն ու Ուկրաինայի` դաշինքին միանալը։ Ռուսաստանը նաև կոչ է արել ՆԱՏՕ-ին հրաժարվել ցանկացած ռազմական գործունեությունից Ուկրաինայում, Արևելյան Եվրոպայում, Անդրկովկասում, Կենտրոնական Ասիայում։
