Գերիների վերադարձի գործընթացը շարունակական է լինելու քանդի դեռ Ադրբեջանը պահում է նաև հաստատված գերիների։ Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանում Ադրբեջանում գտնվող հայ ռազմագերիների շահերի ներկայացուցիչ, իրավապաշտպան Սիրանուշ Սահակյանը։
«Վերադարձը հիմնականում կազմակերպվում է քաղաքական գործընթացների շրջանակում․կա՛մ ՌԴ-ն, կա՛մ ԱՄՆ-ն, կա՛մ Եվրոպական միությունը իրենց քաղաքական ազդեցությունը օգտագործելով կազմակերպում են վերադարձը։ Տեսնում եք, որ այն մասնակի է, ամբողջ ծավալով չի ապահովվում»,-ասաց նա։
Իրավապաշտպանն ասաց, որ այս պահին հաստատված գերիների թիվը շուրջ 50-ն է։
«Ինչ վերաբերում է ոչ պաշտոնականին, ապա հավելյալ 80 անձի մասին ենք խոսում»,-ասաց նա։
Սիրանուշ Սահակյանը ՀՀ իշխանությունների կողմից գերիներին քրեական պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու մասին հրապարկային խոսելը անթույլատրելի համարեց։
«Իրավական և բարոյական առումով չեմ կարծում՝ նրանց կալանավորելու հիմքեր գոյություն ունեն։ Նրանց առողջական վիճակը և այլ հանգամանքներ իսկապես չեն արդարացնում անազատությունը։ Ես չեմ տեսնում ռիսկեր նրանց փախուստի դիմելու կամ քննությունից թաքնվելու, խոչընդոտելու առումով։ Եթե փախուստի դիմելու մտադրություն ունենային, իրենց կամարտահայտության հիման վրա կտեղափոխվեին 3 -րդ երկրներ։ Նրանք վերադառնում են խոցելի վիճակում, ընտանիքները ևս գտնվում են ծանր բարոյական, նյութական վիճակում»,-ասաց նա։
Սիրանուշ Սահակյանը նշեց, որ, ինչպես ինքը կանխատեսել էր, իշխանությունների հայատարությունները Ադրբեջանը շահարկեց, հայտարարեց, որ իրենք վերադարձնում են գերիներին, սակայն Հայաստանում նրանց կալանավորում են, խոշտանգում են։
«Սա երկարաժամկետ ազդեցություն ունեցող հայտարարություն է, շատ կարճ ժամանակ անց կտեսսնեք, թե ինչպես են կասկածի տակ դնում գերիների ցուցմունքները, որտեղ նրանք հայտարարել են Ադրբեջանի կողմից խոշտանգումների, այլ գործողությունների մասին։ Ադրբեջանը փորձելու է ներկայացնել, որ նրանց Հայաստանում ձերբակալում են, խոշտանգում են, ստանում են Հայաստանին շահավետ ցուցմունքներ, իշխանությունների սպառնալիքների ներքո տվել են սուտ ցուցմունքներ»,-նկատեց իրավապաշտպանը։
