1903 - ծնվել է արձակագիր, մանկագիր Արաքսը (Արաքս Ավետիսյան):

1908 - ծնվել է նկարիչ Էդուարդ Սարգսյանը:

1918- Հայ- վրացական պատերազմի ժամանակ անգլիական զորքերը մտել են Թիֆլիս:

1920– Տաթևի վանքում կայացել է Համազանգեզուրյան 1-ին համագումարը, որը մերժել է տարածքը Ադրբեջանին տալու պահանջը, և որոշվել է Զանգեզուրը ժամանակավորապես հռչակել անկախ պետություն «Ինքնավար Սյունիք» անունով, իսկ Գարեգին Նժդեհը դարձել է Սյունիքի սպարապետ։

1991- Հայաստանը դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններ է հաստատել ԱՄՆ-ի հետ:

1997 - վախճանվել է ազգությամբ հայ, ֆրանսիացի բնախույզ, աշխարհում առաջին կին օվկիանոսագետ, լուսանկարիչ Անիտա Կոնտին:

2005-Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նախագահ Արկադի Ղուկասյանի հրամանագրով Գեորգի Պետրոսյանը նշանակվել է ԼՂՀ արտգործնախարար:

2020- Արցախում սկանդալ է տեղի ունեցել։ Ստեփանակերտի բնակիչների պահանջով ապամոնտաժվել են Աննա Հակոբյանի «Իմ քայլը» հիմնադրամի տեղադրած ամանորյա տոնածառն ու վրանները։ Արցախցիները նաև պահանջել են, որ Աննա Հակոբյանը Արցախ չմտնի։

800 -Կարլ Մեծը թագադրվել է որպես Հռոմի «Արևելքի կայսր»:

1492 -Կոլոմբոսի կողմից Էսպանիոլ կղզում հիմնադրվել է Լա-Նավիդադ բնակավայրը, որը հանդիսանում է Նոր երկրում հիմնադրված առաջին բնակավայրը:

1642– ծնվել է անգլիացի աշխարհահռչակ ֆիզիկոս, մաթեմատիկոս, աստղագետ, ալքիմիկոս, փիլիսոփա և աստվածաբան Իսահակ Նյուտոնը։

1745 -Դրեզդենում կնքվել է սեպարատ հաշտության պայմանագիր մի կողմից՝ Պրուսիայի, իսկ մյուս կողմից՝ Ավստրիայի և Սաքսոնիայի միջև, որով ավարտվել է Երկրորդ Սիլեզյան պատերազմը:

1759 -Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ակադեմիկոս Յոզեֆ Բրաունը առաջին անգամ ստացել է պինդ սնդիկ:

1878 -ծնվել է շվեյցարական ծագմամբ ամերիկացի ավտոարշավորդ և ավտոարտադրող Լուի Շևրոլեն:

1887 -ծնվել է ամերիկացի գործարար, Hilton հյուրանոցային ցանցի ստեղծող Կոնրադ Հիլթոնը:

1917 -Ուկրաինայում հաստատվել է խորհրդային իշխանություն:

1925-վախճանվել է ռուս ֆիզիկոս, ռենտգենային սպեկտրոսկոպիայի ստեղծող Գեորգի Վուլֆը:

1927– ծնվել է հնդիկ նշանավոր երաժիշտ Ռամ Նարայանը։

1938 -ծնվել է չեխ գրող Կարել Չապեկը:

1946 -ԽՍՀՄ-ում Կուրչատովի ղեկավարությամբ գործարկվել է Եվրոպայում առաջին ատոմային ռեակտորը:

1977 –վախճանվել է անգլիացի նշանավոր կինոդերասան, սցենարիստ, երգահան և ռեժիսոր, կինեմատոգրաֆի ունիվերսալ վարպետ Չարլի Չապլինը:

1979–խորհրդային զորքերը մտցվել են Աֆղանստան, սկսվել է Աֆղանական պատերազմը։

1989 -գնդակահարվել է Ռումինիայի նախկին ղեկավար Նիկոլայ Չաուշեսկուն:

1991– ԽՍՀՄ առաջին և վերջին նախագահ Միխայիլ Գորբաչովը հրաժարական է տվել։ Պաշտոնապես ՌՍՖՍՀ-ն դարձել է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն, Կրեմլի վրա ԽՍՀՄ դրոշը փոխվել է Ռուսաստանի դրոշով:

1993 -ուժի մեջ է մտել Ռուսաստանի Սահմանադրությունը:

2010 -հյուսիսային կիսագնդում ԱՄՆ-ից մինչև Եվրոպա տեղացել է անոմալ սառցե անձրև:

2016 - Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության պաշտպանության նախարարությանը պատկանող Տու-154 ինքնաթիռը վթարվել է Սոչիի մոտ և ընկել Սև ծով. զոհվել է 92 մարդ։

2017 -վախճանվել է խորհրդային և ռուսական կոմպոզիտոր Վլադիմիր Շաինսկին:

2019-Մեքսիկայում արթնացել է Պոպոկատեպետլ հրաբուխը:
