Ամանորյա գիշերը հրավառությունների առատությունից ինձ թվում էր, թե գտնվում եմ ոչ թե խայտառակ պարտություն կրած, այլ հաղթանակած երկրի մայրաքաղաքում: Չգիտեմ՝ դա չգիտակցված ակցիա էր, թե նման հրահանգ էր իջեցվել ամեն գնով խաղաղության ձգտող իշխանության կողմից: Ենթադրում եմ, որ մեկը մյուսին չէր հակասում՝ կար և՛ առաջինը և՛ երկրորդը: Սակայն եթե քո հարևանի ընտանիքում ողբերգություն է տեղի ունեցել, դու չպետք է տոն նշես՝ էլ չեմ ասում, որ դա անես հարևանիդ ի տես: Մարդկային բարոյականությունը մերժում է նման վարքագիծը: Բայց որքան հասկանում եմ՝ արդեն երեք ու կես տարի է, ինչ պարզ և հասարակ բարոյականությունը լքել է մեր շրջապատը: Երեք ու կես տարի առաջ նախկինների տները դագաղներ ուղարկողները այսօր դա անում են փոխաբերական իմաստով: Առանց մտածելու, որ չի կարող երջանիկ լինել այն ժողովուրդը, որի մի մասը չի ընկալում մյուսի ցավը: Եվ ըստ այդմ՝ չի կարող երջանիկ լինել քո ընտանիքը, եթե քո հարևանիդ տունը դժբախտություն է մտել:


ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձն ամեն ինչ անում է, որպեսզի ժողովրդի հիշողությունից ջնջնվի հայրենիքի մի մասի կորուստը՝ մերժելով այն հայրենիք կոչվելու իրավունքից: Որպեսզի մարդիկ մոռանան, որ մի քանի հազար երիտասարդ այլևս տուն չի վերադառնա, իսկ դրանից ավելին հաշմված է վերադարձել: Եվ մարդիկ տրվում են այդ սատանայական ներշնչանքին: Որովհետև ծանր է ողբերգության բեռով ապրելը՝ նույնիսկ եթե դա քոնը չէ: Եվ այդ պատճառով էլ կառչում են դրանից ազատվելու ամենափոքր հնարավորությունից անգամ: Էլ չեմ խոսում մարդու այն տեսակի մասին, ով թքած ունի՝ թե ինչ կպատահի հայրենակցի հետ. կարևորն ինքն է ու իր ընտանիքը: Նմաններն անհայրենիք արարածներ են՝ մարդ կոչվելուն ոչ արժանի: Իսկ երբ դրանց իր աջակցությունն է հայտնում մերօրյա «փրկիչը»՝ անգամ մեկ ազգի կամ ժողովրդի շրջանակում դեգրադացիան սահմաններ չի ճանաչի: Հոգևոր այդ դեգրադացիան, ի դեպ, շատ ավելի վտանգավոր է ժողովրդի ու պետության ապագայի առումով, քան մատի փաթաթան դարձրած կոռուպցիան (լատիներենից՝ փչացում): Կոռուպցիան, նյութական իմաստով, ի վերջո, պետություն չի կործանում, իսկ ժողովրդի նկարագրի փչացումը մեզ այսօր տանում է դեպի անդունդ: Ինչը զարմանալիորեն չի ընկալվում նրանց կողմից, ովքեր պետք է խոչընդոտ հանդիսանային այդ ընթացքին:   

Արդեն երկրորդ տարին է, ինչ ես չեմ կարողանում բաժակ բարձրացնել և շնորհավորել մերձավորիս Ամանորը: Իսկ եթե նույնիսկ ստիպված եմ լինում՝ ես զգում եմ սեփական կեղծավորությունս: Դիմացինս կարող է նույնիսկ դա չզգալ, բայց ես ճանաչում եմ ինքզ ինձ, ու ամաչում եմ ինքս ինձանից: Ամաչում եմ, որովհետև 1988-ի շարժումն ինձ համար վերափոխվելու շարժում էր, որտեղ տեղ չունեին կեղծիքն ու շահամոլությունը: Որտեղ իմ ինքնահաստատումը տեղի էր ունենում ոչ թե նշված երևույթների կամ օտար մարդկանց հաշվին, այլ ինքս ինձ հաղթելու տառապանքների գնով: Ու որով դաստիարակել եմ իմ զավակին: Դաստիարակել ազնվության իմ պատկերացումներով, իմ կյանքի օրինակով: Կարծում էի, որ 2018-ի շարժումը կդառնա այն սկիզբը, որն ինձ իրավունք կտա կիսվել ոչ միայն զավակիս, այլ հազարների հետ: Սակայն ճակատագիրն այդպես չկամեցավ: Ճակատագիրը կամեցավ, որպեսզի ամեն ինչ շրջվի գլխվայր, ընթանա իմ պատկերացրածի հակառակ: Ու այդ ճակատագիրը դեռևս շարունակում է իր ուղին: բայց ես կարծում եմ, որ ես ու ինձ նմաններն, ի վերջո, կհաղթենք: Որովհետև մենք ենք մարդկային և այդ թվում հոգևոր զարգացման ուղին նախանշողները և ոչ թե ստի և կեղծիքի «չասպետները»:
